We have been travelling around Vietnam for 6 weeks and this was the best hospitality we have encountered.
Our room was very spacious and comfortable, the grounds are absolutely enchanting. As you enter you will be hit by wafts of cinnamon and the sounds of water features. This place is maximum relaxation. The coffee is amazing, as is the breakfast Bahn Mi. I really couldn't recommend this place enough and we will go out of our way to come back when we visit Vietnam again. I would give this place an 11 tbh, if you need anything Vi the owner will sort it out. If you're in Yen Bai you have to stay here

Very helpful and friendly owner who was eager to talk about the area and culture of Vietnam. There was never any problem to help us out with questions we had. The room was more than big enough and both bathroom and bedroom are very clean.

I went there with a friend of mine in march 2024, but only for one night, cause we made our way up north. The retreat is situated in a beautiful little valley, surrounded by jungle, waterways and chirping cicadas. it felt very peaceful, the huts are made out of bamboo, flowers growing everywhere and a yoga mat was in our room to do some stretching. they are still building new gardens and houses so there is a bit of construction work done but that was ok and not bad at all. everybody is super nice and always smiling. we arrived to late at night, so the kitchen was closed. The owner still managed to pick us a HUGE papaya and cooked two sweet potato’s for us, which we considered as the sweetest thing. would definitely recommend to stay there for a couple of days.

We were supposed to stay 3 nights at this homestay and we ended up staying 5 ! Dai and his family are exceptional people that truly made us feel at home. They organized many activities for us (jungle trekking, boat tour and picnic on the lake, the transportation to our next destination). We were there with a couple of friends and their kids and we all loved it !

Incredible nice Family with a lake that invites for a sunset swim. Basic beds and a true Vietnam experience. I definitely suggest taking part in the family dinner. It was delicious and they are very grateful when it comes to serving ricevine.

Previous people have written the same expression "It's an Oasis" and I felt exactly the same way. After a long ride, well into the night, upon arrival I was welcomed into a delightful setting. A clean and tidy room, separate warm shower. A relaxed comfortable setting.
As it had been raining my room was upgraded.
Staff were wonderful, the breakfast - probably the best I had in Vietnam - and coffee was right up there too.
