The people here are way more friendly, then I have experienced in some other parts North Dakota. I truly did not feel a lack of service anywhere I went and there is plenty of shopping and entertainment. Since I was here for work I didn't get to go a lot of places, but the shops I did go to had great gifts and souvenirs.

I have been here actually a few years and it's not a huge tourist town (no zoo, mall, museums etc) but if you DO need to stay here it's got a few places to visit. The food choices are mostly chain which isn't the greatest. Every place is what you make it, though!

Williston has great things to do.
Williston has great things to do. If you want a water park there is one at the Williston ARC. There is a jump park for the kids. There are events regularly downtown. If you like outdoor activities there are those too. Fishing, rockhounding, hiking trails at the confluence... lots of things you just have to look. I made reservations but had a emergency at work. I had little notice that I had to return home post haste. Made the reservations through Booking.com which I will never use again. I had the I refundable option. No understanding from the hotel. I will never stay at a Best Western. I felt they could have worked with me a bit.CarolUnited States

All the staff was super friendly, and there was coffee at all times, and some breakfast in the morning that included yogurt, muffins and boiled eggs. We borrowed a pass for ARC and spent the afternoon at the water park with our kids. At night we just ate at the brewery ( accessible from the hotel). The food is soo delicious there.

I've stayed at this location since May until October and it was Rocky in the beginning but due to mew management. My experience here is great.
