Going for ball tournaments, great facility, right along the river that has a great walking path for miles Very clean and green area. Great food and we love the Mexican selections. Two of our favorite restaurant are La Fuente Mexican at 816 South Mission Wenatchee. They are very knowledgeable about GF. Great restaurant. The other is El Agave. Very good too. Our very favorite is La Fuente. There are many other good restaurants to choose from Sports complex, good for many events. A must is a stop in Cashmere a small town that has a candy factory. Most of the products made from the local fruit orchards. Liberty Orchard - Aplets & Cotlets Candy Kitchen. Leavenworth 20+ miles away is a great stop. A very pretty drive.

Wenatchee is a secret little getaway that so many people overlook. If you like nature, I suggest going to the Ohme park to walk around and enjoy peace.
There's tons of great food there, as well. Just overall a nice quiet little down to get away to.

We lived in Wenatchee and were very disappointed by the amount of construction affecting traffic flow. The volume of traffic is horrendous. Getting out pf the hotel parking lot is ridiculous. Wenatchee has successfully become modern day nightmare for tourists. They have done an excellent job of attracting far too many people and not upgrading the infrastructure to compensate.

We were quite content with this hotel.
We were quite content with this hotel. There is free parking, breakfast, comfortable bed, good sized room and staff was very personable. The location was a plus and we got a good rate. Be prepared though; there is no operating elevator. We were there during a snowstorm and the parking lot was icy.
The hotel looks very modern and clean. It is pet friendly. The AC was working and we had a microwave, cable, free wifi and large fridge. There was free coffee in the lobby. This hotel was very close to all the grocery stores, parks, and restaurants. The staff was friendly and price was awesome. The only minus was that there is no free breakfast but it's ok because there were many fast food places near by to get inexpensive breakfast. We will definitely go here again when we are in Wenatchee.
I absolutely love stay at the LaQuinta in Wenatchee WA. My son plays baseball for the Wenatchee Valley College and I am in Wenatchee every week in the Fall and Spring. I used to stay when it was the former hotel and then into the transition to LaQuinta. The changes were minimal. The staff at the front desk, cleaning crew and breakfast counter couldn't be nicer and more helpful. I will always stay at LaQuinta while visiting beautiful Wenatchee.
On a scale of 1 to 10 we give Wenatchee Gateway an 11. The staff was so helpful and curtious. Special kudos to "Breakfast Brian" who's cheerfulness, patience and helpfulness was above and beyond. From check-in to check-out our week there was one of the best we've experienced in our years of traveling. We will be looking for Comfort Inns in our future travels. Keep up the good work. Great evening chocolate chip cookies!
Barb is a wonderful manager. She knew I didn't have GPS or data and handwrote directions for me. She is very accommodating and a great personality. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.
Although older facilities, the rooms are kept clean and in good condition. the hotel is right next to the downtown area and it is easy to walk to any of the restaurants and shops.
I visit this hotel often, it is convenient and good value for money. The Breakfast and Cookies at night are a great add, but for this hotel it is location location.
Breakfast was great and a good location for our travels. We chose the hotel for having EV chargers. A little faster ones would be great even with a fee.
The hotel actually lives up to the nice photos! Very clean and staff were very friendly! Bonus: breakfast was great and breakfast staff extra friendly!
