We HAD TO change rooms: the first room was unbelievably noisy because of disfunctional airco and other loud apparatus on the roof. Moreover the room had a distinct ‘smell’: a combination of something ugly and roomspray. Suffocating.
The second room was really good! The hotel team was great though!

We go to Visalia for a convention.
We go to Visalia for a convention. The home was not the blue cottage as there was a last minute problem with the dates we stayed at the Retro modern Home. It was lovely. Very roomy. Close to Convention Center and close to shopping. The Black Bear Diner was very close.

Nice place we stayed on our road trip heading to Sequoia...
Nice place we stayed on our road trip heading to Sequoia park. A little noisy because it was next to a main road, but ideal to get to and set off the next morning. The pool was nice and the area around it was lovely to relax after a long day of driving. It could be accessed by the back door of all the bedrooms and there were benches to sit on. Would go again. I don't think there were many cheaper options than this when we were searching.

Close to Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon.
Close to Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon. Visalia is a wonderful little town with fun diners and cafes. Good time diner is a 50’s theme restaurant with fabulous food at great prices. There is also Granny’s cafe with tasty breakfasts in an old time setting. Mama K’s is a very popular Resturant with the locals located in a stick yard auction building.

Stayed in Visalia to visit both Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Although it was a great hotel it was farther than expected to both parks. And, once you arrived at the park entrances, the drive in to the sites was very far. I would recommend staying in the parks if possible. Visalia downtown was cute with many dining options and breweries.

I love a hot cup of tea before going to sleep and a cup of coffee or tea in the morning. Miss not having a coffee pot in the room. Since I come to visit my family I don’t need a plush room so this works well. Checking in was quick and simple, thank you to staff.
Probably the nicest hotel in the area. High ceiling rooms. I think this used to be the old city annex building. They maintained the art deco decor throughout which really makes the hotel stand out. Bathroom is large and nice-- only criticism is the lighting. A single bulb that makes the room feel a bit sterile. I'm nitpicking. Very nice hotel for those wanting a small town getaway or an upscale spot while visiting Sequoia. Restaurant was okay-- not bad, not memorable. I had the shrimp. I'd visit again
Breakfast was typical.it was nit the quality of Hampton Inn.
Rates seemed high it was over 812. Fir 3 nughts for 2 double beds and a pet. If tge bill had been under $200. A night I would have felt that it was very good. Because there is a quartet fanfest we feel hotels are making rates outrageous. When rooms are noyt top quality. They are clean but floors in our room were not swept for 3 days.
The hotel created a beautiful, green surrounding, especially around the pool, which gives a real holiday feeling. The rooms are spacious and clean (and were already nice and cool upon arrival, felt great considering the high temperature outside these days). Staff was very friendly.
the rooms wasn’t cleans, the remote control for tv no working and the lady in the reception in the morning, was a really rude,I’m not staying again at the hotel,I’ll travel every month to Visalia and for sure don’t come back to this hotel!!!Really bad!!
Helpful staff. Room comfy. Nice breakfast- even better if there would be a variety of fruit. (I note fruit options have been poor in many of the breakfasts at hotels we used in California)
Enjoyed making ourselves fresh waffles.
Nice and welcoming staff.
Room was spacious and nicely arranged with a small living room area and kitchenette.
Towels and bed sheets were new and fresh.
Good breakfast options offered. Protected parking was also a big plus.
The spacious spaces are very pleasant for the nine people who traveled together. The rooms are very comfortable, the living room and the dining room too. The apartment is very useful for dividing a large group.
We asked for a first floor room several days before our visit. However, when we got there we were told all were already occupied. My wife has a hard time climbing stairs so this was a major concern.
The hotel is located near the freeway, nevertheless it is nice and quiet. The rooms are large and offer some amenities. The hotel also has a pool / whirlpool.
We were there for sequoia National Park visit, because of the off season there were no open hotel arround national park, so Wyndham was cheap and close one..
