We absolutely loved everything. When we arrived, we were pleased to find a little lounge with beverages. Very cozy. The bed was as comfortable as home. Breakfast in that beautiful room started the holiday season for us. Thanks for a memorable stay

A super cute place with a ton of character! We loved the rock incorporated into the building and the history of the cave system that we learned about at the restaurant. The food was outstanding. We also loved the cute little town with it's shops, bars and restaurants.

It's a nice little hotel. It's in the middle of restaurants and stores, so you don't have to go far if you need something. The breakfast is very simple, but it's enough to break your fast until you get where you can eat more if you need to. The coffee was good, and they don't whisk it away as soon as breakfast is over - HUGE plus for me. ^_^ It's not super fancy, but the staff were pleasant and easy to work with. I would stay there again.

The downtown/riverfront is lovely, but parking is very limited. There was excessive "cruising around" in order to find parking, with numerous drivers vying for vacated parking spots. The city could do better by providing more remote parking lots with, perhaps, trolleys or buses to get people downtown/waterfront from those locations. Also need to have clearer signage on the parking payment system. Not everyone is familiar with the area and it was frustrating trying to figure it out. Thumbs up: clearly marked public restrooms.

We love Stillwater.
We love Stillwater. The beauty of the area and kindness of others is a calming experience when we arrive to visit our grandchildren. We cooked/ate at home, and Kowalski's grocery store, Cub Foods, Target, Walmart are all close by. We even received air for our tires at Rick's Automotive just around the corner from our hotel. Super nice people everywhere, so please be kind to them !

The view was beautiful & we enjoyed Charlie’s Pub! Rooftop was closed due to rainy weather ….looked like it would’ve been a fun place to be! The rooms were unique, clean & vintage style which I like!

Stillwater is a quaint town on the St. Croix River.
Stillwater is a quaint town on the St. Croix River. Easy to get your steps in! Lots of blocks to walk, shops to visit. Very nice restaurants of all types and price points. We took the trolley tour, as we were interested in the history. It took us to the neighborhoods away from the crowded main street. The homes are beautiful!! The gardens are very lovely! I would recommend that tour if you like to know how a town began. We ate at Fuller; had breakfast. It was fine. Parking is plentiful.

I didn't get much opportunity to meander through the downtown area. We were there for a family wedding and left the next morning. I would like to come back sometime when we don't have a time schedule to follow.
the hotel was simply superb. Staff was amazingly friendly, and accommodated all of our needs (accessible room, rollaway bed, rooms near each other). The location in Stillwater was phenomenal (right on the main drag) and the attached restaurant was excellent. As a bonus, the architecture of the building (built in the 19th century and adapted to 21st century needs) was a lot of fun to admire. Overall, it was outstanding stay, and we'd definitely come back.
Charm of the place is off the charts, beautiful antiques and architecture throughout. Awesome secluded location near lots of trails but just a quick drive to downtown Stillwater, staff was warm and helpful. The Robert Frost suite was comfortable and cozy - chilly in January up close to the windows but the electric fireplace and warm blankets provided more than enough warmth. Good selection at the European style breakfast bar.
The breakfast was amazing! Above and beyond what I was expecting. All very fresh and more than enough for each person. The coffee was excellent as well. It was on time and warm! The bathroom and private jetted tub was wonderful to have in the room. The location is perfect for walking to downtown Stillwater without paying a huge price tag. The bed and breakfast itself is cute and a neat experience.
Great location in Stillwater!! The design of the hotel is unique as it was part of an old brewery. Our room was very comfortable, albeit a little noisy early in the morning as we were above the loading area for the restaurant. Not a big deal unless you’re a super light sleeper.
Staff was very nice, slept good. Easy access off hwy. Located across road to Walmart. Took cab downtown, $15 with tip. Price was ok- maybe $89 better for your market... We paid $138, late reservation.
Location to downtown Stillwater was great. I didn’t get his name who was working the front desk when we checked in, but he was great and went above and beyond to make my son happy.
