The staff and room are all GREAT!! Getting to Kemah is tricky by any other means that is not an Uber or Lyft so consider that. There is plenty of parking in the premises however there are NO FOOD options nearby so if you wish not to spend that much, Uber eats would be the best option. The rooms are like small apartments so you are in for a treat.
Located on the bustling Kemah boardwalk, this waterfront hotel offers free WiFi access. A flat-screen cable TV is featured in each room at the Boardwalk Inn.

I did not sleep well. Lots of noise in hallways and rooms.
I did not sleep well. Lots of noise in hallways and rooms. Then when I tried to call the front desk I found out there wasn’t a connected phone line. Calling from my cell. Asked front desk to confront noise issue but not to knock my door since I had sleeping children. They sent security, who of course, knocked on my door several times. Somewhat helpful. But could have resolved the noise issue with out disturbing us since we already had been dealing with disturbance.

I wished my room bed was fixed daily, but it wasn't ,even when I left tips for several employee that were cleaning. One lady had here child on the job while working the rooms.I had to go get towels, soap daily. When the staff fix my bed,put towels soap on the third day it was awesome. The night receptionist stayed on her speaker cell phone with friends. I think you all need to watch your camers more and you will see for yourself. Beside that I love the stay

Loved the area ( I am from Houston and came to visit family that lives close by ) There is a lot of traffic around Kemah boardwalk which is to be expected. Going to get a lot busier during the warmer and Summer coming. Be sure to check out certain places if you have young children. The place we went to was "family friendly" but SO LOUD we almost left and were screaming at the table at each other and it was an early dinner. Just do your research on the places you go after 5:00 with kids.

This place was the CLEANEST hotel we've ever stayed, absolutely from the front door to our entire room. Everything looked brand new as well. Perfect bed, new fluffy pillows. We had a great marina view. (room 202)
Breakfast had a huge selection, including eggs, ham, fresh fruits, yogurt....too much in mention! The front desk lad was Haydn and he was super with customer service, we came in hot and he gave us a complimentary bottle of water. He answered all of our questions with patience, they also had fresh baked cookies in lobby!
I didn't really like anything about this hotel, except it was close enough to Kemah. Other than that it's off the highway, surrounded by industrial area and its not a pretty sight. The hotel was very old and everything was falling apart, the breakfast was terrible ( There wasn't much to choose from) and it was very dirty throughout the hotel hallways and rooms. I read the reviews before booking and it seemed good but now I'm thinking they were fake. The price wasn't too bad but I would definitely NOT stay again.
I loved seeing the lake outside my window. Even though it is a $20 per night upgrade to have a lake view. I found the view relaxing. Staff was all super great and very helpful. Bed was very comfortable and the pillows were a 10/10. There’s a restaurant in the hotel which is convenient. They are a pet friendly hotel which I thought was fantastic even though I didn’t have a pet with me. I loved seeing everyone’s pets all around.
I liked every thing about this hotel, every thing was over expectations.
Big thanks goes to the manager mr. Surgio Pineda, he assisted us in where to go and drew a map for us with the name of each place from Kemah hotel to every place and gave us an advice on every little details, I cant express how much he saved us from being cheated, he was very friendly as well, thanks again for mr. Sergio.
I liked that there was some variety to the breakfast each day along with some staples like fresh fruit and yogurt. The coffee was definitely not to my taste as there was only light roast or decaf. I prefer a stronger blend. The hotel was an easy commute from the Johnson Space Center where we were attending the SEEC conference.
I stayed for two nights the hotel was excellent, the bed super comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean. The bedding and towels were excellent quality. The owner of the hotel was very welcoming would definitely stay here again when I am back in Texas passing through on my way home to Australia. Great location too.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner were good quality and reasonable prices. The staff is friendly. Room was spacious. Sufficient parking space around the hotel but the parking lot at the front has seen better days. Not a problem in a pickup or suv but I was driiving a sportscar and had to get around some of the holes.
the location was great from kemah. We have stayed here a few times before prior to Covid and have had great visit. this is an ok place to stay for the price for the most 1- 2 nights. it an older hotel there is so much more remodeling to it that could be Done..
The staff was excellent and I thought it was indeed a well-established hotel. My one year old daughter was tired and fell asleep halfway through the trip and we arrived much earlier than check-in time, but thankfully they had the room ready for us.
Rooms were big and clean...loved the Dove toiletries..location worked great for us..breakfast had nice selections..front entry was nice and we were able to get in a little early..pillows were great..a breakfast was what sold me on this hotel..
The scenery was beautiful surrounding the hotel and the lobby was just as nice as the room. Since the hotel is by the water and has a pool, the hallway had a dank smell to it though. Other than that, I loved my stay!
