A gem of a place, only stayed one night passing through the area but wish we had booked a few nights and took in local wineries and walks. Plenty to do, amazing countryside. The hotel also had lots of games available, the pool and hot tub were very clean and pleasant. BBQs located for free use too. Fabulous place.

The food and staff at the restaurant and "Hotel" were exceptional. Everyone was so nice and the food Oh My Goodness especially the Bourbon Burger and Chinese Chicken Salad are a most have.

Simple breakfast offerings but something for everyone: eggs, sausage, waffles, bread and bagels, fresh fruit, cereal. My room was comfortable and clean, everything in working order. Maid service was unexpected as I was only staying two nights and they were nice enough to come back later as I was still in the room at 10am. They swapped out used towels and offered to change the linens, which I declined. Good location near Old Poway Park and many restaurants.
Offering a garden and quiet street view, Ridgeview Oasis is situated in Poway, 31 km from Torrey Pines State Reserve and 36 km from University of San Diego.
Lots of various restaurants and cafes to visit. The weather was beautiful and so many hiking trails to explore. The wineries are a fun afternoon out but beware most are only open on the weekends so plan accordingly!

We rode the Coast to Crest mountain bike trail from Del Mar to Ramona then back the next day. About 50 miles each day and about 50% dirt trails
The Riviera Oaks was the perfect place to stay.
On our way back we stopped at Ramona Family Naturals for a great breakfast, yummy coffee and a sandwich to go. Don't miss this place!

Plenty of parking is available so no worries with that.
Plenty of parking is available so no worries with that. I highly recommend the golf course nearby for lunch and keep in mind there isn’t breakfast at the resort. Have a nice stay! The resort is on a branch of town about 10-15 minutes away from everything else.
You’ll be close to the golfcourse and a couple other resorts, but it makes it very nice not worrying about the general public wandering around especially since I had a trailer with cargo.

I was in Ramona attending a Celebration of Life for my friend of 40 years. I also was looking at housing for me and a barn for my horse - wanting to move out of CO. Thought Ramona was too hot and drought stricken. Not for me! Also there were several areas that looked degenerate.

Ramona is a small country town.
Ramona is a small country town. Realistically it is a one street town which offers the basics for shopping and dining. With the larger metropolitan areas and a large casino close by there is no reason not to stay in Ramona.

While we were there we check out the beaches which are beautiful and the safari park, worth seeing. The winery are great, have gone to a different one each visit and enjoyed it very much. Horse back riding was good. Rented a car to get around. Also went to the town of Julian. Liked it very much. Had a piece of their famous apple pie and its so delicious worth the trip.
Most significant for me was it was very clean.. Also nice to have after being in hotel rooms a little home to stay in that had all the basics, cutlery, pots, plus nice little extra practical things. Very relaxing place, nice pool and jacuzzi pool plus able to use the community pool in the park. Bike trail and on the road was minimal traffic. LOVE the weather out here.

The hotel also had lots of games available, the pool and hot tub were very clean and pleasant. BBQs located for free use too. Fabulous place.
It is a reasonably priced, clean motel not far from Julian. It is at the edge of town on the Julian side, which is good if you want a quiet place to sleep. But that makes it a bit away from the "action" - such as it is in Ramona. The room was comfortable and well maintained.
The vegetarian breakfast was very good, especially the delicious milk tea that Uma prepared for us. Location is great for reaching other sites in our traveling plan at Ramona. The facility is very clean and beautifully decorated to provide us pretty different experience.
Breakfast was delicious and exceeded its value, even without the coupon they give for hotel guests. Noise was relatively low during most parts of the day and evening. All of the staff were courteous.
The food and staff at the restaurant and "Hotel" were exceptional. Everyone was so nice and the food Oh My Goodness especially the Bourbon Burger and Chinese Chicken Salad are a most have.
Love Ramona. The area is beautiful. Great walking trail in the neighborhood. Staff was on point. Comfortable apartment with all the amenities. Bed. Pillows. Satisfactory.
