We were in Plainfield to view the April 2024 eclipse, watching it from our hotel grounds, so we didn't explore the city extensively. I expected traffic to be crazy, but it wasn't. I was able to work in hikes at Sodalis Nature Park and Hummel Park during my stay and was impressed with both. I saw enough to know that I'd live in Plainfield if I moved to the Indy area. Nice restaurants, amazing municipal parks, very friendly people.

I had picked out some places to eat (bakery and Italian) a mile or two north of the hotel, but we didn't go there. We were in town for a wedding, which provided enough food. We chose this location for proximity to the airport, which was very good. White House Suites: The location was great for the airport. The room was not designed for comfort. Very utilitarian. Kitchen but the refrigerator was not working properly. No lamps just overhead canned lighting. Probably fine for a work crew. The rate was too high for the room. Very nice person at the front desk. It was clean. No blankets on bed just a stiff bedspread. I chose this facility because it was 15 minutes from Indianapolis airport. The facility was clean and had parking. The website and booking confirmation said you had until 11:00am to checkout. They were knocking on my door at 9:30am wanting to come in and clean the room. I had a long drive the next day and needed the rest but didn't get it. I got out early and was on the road. You won't know the actual price of the room until you get your booking confirmation if you book online. There are several new places to eat that are close to this facility that covers any kind of meal you want. The food was great at Logan's Roadhouse about 1 1/2 minutes from White House Suites.AAnonymous - 6.0Scored 6.0

The indoor heated pool was nice. However I did not bring a swimsuit. My room was clean but furnishing a bit dated. Young lady that checked me in was nice and responded when I had concerns about safely in the parking area.C-six

The room was clean, had all basic necessities including a fridge and a personal bathroom which was also spotless. The hotel has many food options nearby at a walking distance and there is parking outside. The staff, each and every one of them, was super nice, friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area. You will not be disappointed.
