I booked this hotel based on proximity to Snowbasin and the fact they had a hot tub. First, the staff were friendly and so helpful especially with dining choices. The room was clean and confortable. The breakfast was an added bonus and especially that it was a full breakfast. I will definitely stay here on my next trip tp Snowbasin
The location to Snowbasin was quick and easy

Ogden is an EXTREMELY expensive place to visit or live.
Ogden is an EXTREMELY expensive place to visit or live. There is no other reason for us to visit there other than to visit our son, his wife, and baby. Would not recommend visiting otherwise. WAY too expensive.

The room was dark and could have used repairs.
The room was dark and could have used repairs. The baseboard was coming off near the window. The a/c was blowing fan air only. The breakfast was ok, but the items were not being replenished. The breakfast worker spoke no English. Beds were clean, front desk clerk was pleasant.

Room very scarcely furnished.
Room very scarcely furnished. Nothing provided for kitchen use such as dishes, silverware, pots, pans, but you could buy them. Ridiculous. Front office almost never staffed. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy!!!! Total thumbs down!

Actually, I was just passing through.
Actually, I was just passing through. I might have stayed longer, but rain and snow were forecast ahead on my route. By making this a sleep-and-go I was able to enjoy the drive on east with no weather worries.

The Ogden area is beautiful.
The Ogden area is beautiful. Wasatch Mountains are different than others and interesting to look at. For us it was easy to get together with family and get to an appointment in Salt Lake City with the closeness to the freeway. Many places to eat, with lots of good food.
It was fairly easy for us to get around Ogden since we lived there for 16 years and come back to visit family whenever we can.

This particular best western pluse canyon pines in horrible.
This particular best western pluse canyon pines in horrible. I would not recommend anyone going there. The hot tub was absolutely filthy, and the staff did not care. The manager on staff, Nicolas ,was very rude, unhelpful and frankly disgusting. The staff is very poorly trained.
I had an awesome room with a very spacious bathroom. I had a clear view of the city from the 7th floor. I frequently visit family in Ogden and the Hampton is where always stay. Its in a good location, simple walk to oldtown and there is a additional venues(movie theater, EoS gym, restaurants) across from the hotel and if you're a baseball fan, LA Dodgers triple A team stadium is a block away. And if you enjoy walking, there is a walking path along the river which is a mile away.
This place is a total chaos. There were 5 flies on the room ceiling, mildew on the lamp shades, curtains and door. There was also a note that came from the connecting room that read: Hello neighbor! It is under "renovation" so there were construction workers all over the place and noise. This place is unsafe and unhealthy. Is close to downtown, but in the middle of nowhere. I had to run for my life and book a hotel in the downtown area.
This charming hotel is located in downtown Ogden at the foot of the mountains. There are interesting restaurants, a movie theatre and a climbing gym nearby. We ate both dinner and breakfast there. The dining room is very pleasant with large windows and the dinner was excellent. The breakfast was good but not noteworthy.
I stayed here to snowboard at Snowbasin. I chose the hotel because it is the closest place to stay, and the drive to the resort and back each day was straightforward and quick. The room was comfortable, the hot tub was wonderful and uncrowded each time I used it, and the breakfast was top-notch.
The hotel is clean, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is well stocked. The building is well designed. The pool and gym are really nice. Don’t forget to walk the garden in the back, it is lit up at night if you arrive late. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going through Ogden.
We felt very unsafe, we were afraid the whole night that our vehicle would get broken into or stolen, due to the area hotel is located. The room smelled so bad, thank goodness we had our own bedding. Check in was additional charges three different transactions more than booking
The room was large and beautiful. Everything was spotless. The location was great with a short walk to many restaurants. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great too. This was by far the nicest hotel we stayed at during our two-weeks of travel.
This was one of the best stops i've made on my way through. The hotel staff is just wonderful and very accommodating. The rooms are very nicely appointed with the prettiest colors/pictures and overall decor. The beds are too wonderful to put into words.
The location was perfect. We looked at other hotels & rentals and this was the best price for location, cleanliness, great beds, and breakfast! I also loved the fruit-flavored water choices to stay hydrated. The view overlooking downtown was a plus!
Stunning location set next the the Ogden River under imposing mountains.
Staff super friendly and other than a missed cleaning service for the room they were great.
We were there for skiing which was only 20 mins away through gorgeous countryside.
This hotel is the sweetest, most quaint hotel in Ogden! The rooms are super comfortable and clean, breakfast buffet is fantastic and hotel location is close to EVERYTHING and within walking distance!
The hotel was very comfortable and nicely appointed. The amenities were impressive, pool, hot tub, pool table, large seating area with games. Our kids all agreed it was their favorite hotel so far.
Very convenient hotel, next to the freeway, large rooms, extra large beds. We had a nice balcony with a view of the garden. No noise from the freeway. Three gas stations next to it.
It's a Motel 6, but a nice one basically. Place felt clean and beds were good enough to rest for one night, so we were happy to find this Motel 6 in Ogden along our route!
