Located in Oakhurst, just 10 miles from Yosemite National Park, the completely non-smoking Sierra Sky Ranch was established as a cattle ranch and evolved into a guest ranch in 1946.

Great customer service from Forest when there was a fault with our room door & my husband couldn't get in, tried all avenues, and got him a room free of charge. Just wanted to say thank you to all staff involved, including Amanda. Staff recommended great places to eat and the rooms are very clean & comfortable.
Hotel is near Yosemite which we highly recommend seeing; and to do a day tour with Discover Yosemite.
Would happily stay here again.

Fell in love with the location and I want to go back. Sad to leave, but all good things with a vacation come to an end. I am glad I stayed central to the town. Loved the local art gallery and artist there.

Beautiful tiny city in a short ride to Yosemite, amazing and friendly locals always ready to help. don't forget to bring the chains if you travel to Yosemite. Stores in the area could be short of tire chains of the price won't make you happy.

Oakhurst is just 16 miles from the southern entrance to Yosemite. That entrance is closest to the Mariposa Grove of Big Trees. The Valley and waterfalls are another 45 minute drive. Oakhurst has a great selection of restaurants, antique stores and friendly people. The selection of rooms is less expensive and easier to book than Yosemite. During the season, there is also YARTS bus system taking visitors to Yosemite (there is a fee). This makes it easier so you don't have to fight traffic, search for parking or have a park reservation.

We found Oakhurst to be a friendly town whether in local restaurants, visitor center, drug stores, and grocery stores. Oakhurst has a quaint, small town feel to it. Close to Yosemite activities and Yosemite National Park.

The place was not quiet.
The place was not quiet. On the second night there were people next door and I could almost hear them breathe. Plus I booked two nights based on the "reduced rate" of $79 but was then billed for extras. I would not have booked this had the cost been up front. Shame on Booking.com for not being transparent. When I complained to Booking.com I was told there was no refund. I wont book either of them again.

30 minutes from the hotel to the national park entrance
It takes about 1 hour and 20" from the entrance to the center of the national park.
The hotel is a good choice due to its convenient location, comfortable accommodations, and the availability of various restaurants and gas stations nearby. Being just a 25-minute drive from the south entrance of Yosemite National Park, it offers easy access to the park. Additionally, guests have plenty of dining options with different cuisines in the vicinity, and there are convenient gas stations for refueling. The hotel provides a pleasant environment for a comfortable stay and includes a simple breakfast, making it a great overall choice.
The hotel rooms are generally very nice and quiet.
There are many stores near the hotel, and it is also very convenient to go to the supermarket.
There is a microwave and a refrigerator in the room, which is really helpful.
The staff was very friendly, it was my first time visiting Yosemite and I was very happy to stay in such a great place.
The breakfast served at the hostel was very good and enjoyed it very much.
Friendly staff greeted us and were very clear with regard to information about the hotel and stay. The room was modern and spacious with very good bathroom facilities and all was clean. It had it's own car park which was very convenient. Breakfast was buffet style with a few cooked items, also cereal, toast, juice and hot drinks etc.
check out was straight forward too.
Very friendly staff, to order breakfast every morning, very nice wine and cheese offerings every evening.
Small hotel, feels intimate. Close yo Yosemite park as well as conveniences of Oakhurst.
We had to leave early because of medical emergency and the property was nice enough to refund one night stay, which is unheard of nowadays- we will be coming back!!!
The location is excellent. It's right on the norther edge of Oakhurst and only 30 minutes away from entrance to Yosemite. If all you need is a cheap place to crash the night and don't really care about cleanliness, this will work for you. The room was warm, and the beds were comfortable enough. But...
Great hotel. Breakfast is basic but good enough for us. Great location with nice scenic drive to Yosemite. Room was huge.
If you're not really a hiker 1 day is enough for Yosemite, 2nd day drive via Tioga road for more nice views if you come from SF/LA side. One night here is good value =)
This hotel was just built and is great for the price in the Yosemite area. We were only about 30 minutes away from Yosemite Valley and were near the heart of downtown Oakhurst. Room was very nice and spacious. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful. We would stay here again!
The breakfast was great lots of choices and hot options sausage and eggs too. The attendant worked hard to keep the food area filled for the guests. We booked the nite the hotel changed names other than difficulty confirming the reservation everything was flawless
The Villa is fantastic and ideal for a family. Near to the town of Oakhurst to get provisions. We spent our evenings looking at the stars and drinking wine! If California was on the doorstep to us as is France we would definitely return here for a longer break.
Everything about this property was great! The location was amazing and was very peaceful. The hotel has a lot of history behind it and they did a great job of creating the look and feel that it is today. This is a must stay place if visiting Yosemite, hands down!
cozy hotel and the staff very professional and tryin to help anytime.
the included breakfast was good and.
the hotel is around 1 hour from Yosemite park but it’s ok because you can comeback to the hotel and can find everything to buy and restaurants.
Spacious room. Breakfast with a lot of variety (incl. fresh waffels). Hotel located by the main street (tho quiet) with restaurants, gas station, laundry. 45-60 min drive to Yosemite Nationalpark.
Great location, close to Yosemite National Park. Several restaurants close in Oakhurst. Very quiet location. The lady at the beer and wine garden was very nice and helpful.
The hotel was in a great location, clean and comfortable with a coffee machine, the breakfast was great. There is also a guest laundry on site which was easy to use.
Charming small hotel near the entrance of Yosemite National Park.
Breakfast, evening cheese and wine. The bed was very comfortable.
Smooth check-in and check-out
Woman at front desk was helpful and very pleasant. Wanted more of a cabin/lodge experience than a chain hotel, and Oakhurst Lodge met that. Good location.
