Breakfast was simple, cereals & some fresh fruits & some precooked hot items. They didn't replace items that ran out, which was disappointing. They did have a pool & work out center.

The breakfast was very nice, "real" half-and-half instead of the little packages would have been great, otherwise no complaints

Great communication with the owner. Very clean. Wanted to stay longer! Interior design was impeccable. Kitchenette was well equipped, and the owner provided wine and truffles! We stayed for a local wedding, and all our friends' accommodations couldn't beat Angelo's.

The place was beautiful and well kept. Love that they repurposed an old brick yard.

The cottage is clearly recommendable, very charming and cosy and equipped with everything needed even for cooking midsize meals. The host Matthew is very attentive and responsive; directions and instructions were very clear. The neighborhood and immediate surroundings are quiet and feel absolutely safe. Kingston is a good location for exploring the Hudson Valley in both directions and itself worth a visit (State Senate House, Stockade District, Harbor) (Reserve at least three days!) Thank you, Matt!

The hotel is located on a busy road. They gave us as quiet of a room as possible. It was ok. The staff was fantastic!!!!
The room was very clean. The employees were helpful and courteous. All was excellent.
We received list of restaurants nearby. We are at Mariner’s Cove and enjoyed our meals and great service.
Getting around Kingston was easy and delightful!

Be very careful about surge pricing over the weekend - this hotel is very poor value for money at weekend prices. I am also concerned that there is extremely limited concern for protecting the environment, a complete lack of energy efficiency - throw away cutlery and plates and bowls, no energy efficient measures in rooms. In my 4 day stay my room wasn't cleaned at all. Standards of food very poor.

Very nice place to stay.
Very nice place to stay. Excellent staff very helpful and friendly. Only negative would be more time at the pool. Maybe it could stay open a little longer. Breakfast was ok. Would have liked more hot food choices. Over all great place to stay. Would recommend to everybody to stay there. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Bed and towels were ok, which was the only positive.
Bed and towels were ok, which was the only positive. Unable to call the hotel prior to the check in as was Choice and Booking.com. Did not answer countless efforts to call and e-mail to modify the room from smoking to non-smoking, despite allow the phone to ring for almost 20minutes until it disconnected. Manager and staff were informed of this issue when we arrived and were totally uncaring. No explanation of the situation, in fact the manager did not verbally respond at all. First room has a dirty toilet and broken fridge. Second room was minimally passable aside from the AC being so old and loud that we had to turn it off just to sleep. Fridge loud and all items old.

There’s a gamut of things to do and places to see.
There’s a gamut of things to do and places to see. Yes during COVID we made sure the majority of our trip itinerary was outside. You can easily do 5 days up here in these surrounding counties in NY state.

The host Matthew is very attentive and responsive; directions and instructions were very clear. The neighborhood and immediate surroundings are quiet and feel absolutely safe. Great little well appointed cottage in a wonderful location in Kingston! Very nicely remodeled one bedroom with a nice kitchen and bathroom and outdoor seating area (we didn’t have time to spend outside but it looked nice with a small grill too). Nice soap and well stocked kitchen (there was even ice in the ice trays) plus good air conditioning and shades on windows. Everything worked well and we enjoyed our short stay. Will definitely be back when we are in the area again!
The pillows are uncomfortable. If you don't look closely it's clean, if you look closely there is dirt and dust and crumbs under and behind things. Other smoking guests congregate at the entrances to the hotel so even if you are acnon-smoker expect to smell like cigarettes before work. The shower curtains could benefit from a better more hygeinic design. But the staff is exceptionally welcoming and helpful. And you can't beat the value. Thank you
The main hotel is nostalgic, and well thought out. Very nicely renovated. The breakfast was very good, lots of choices for all different tastes. The room was simple, pretty, and very roomy. We appreciated that the windows open for some fresh air. The locations we all downtown, offering easy access to shopping and eating.
A little dirty and run down- idk what gives, but at 2am and 4am there was another guest pacing the hallway talking on the phone- the place seems like it's also housing for low income but can't confirm- not the best place/ not the worst- room itself was OK- nothing special obviously- should've been about 40 bucks cheaper
We stayed in the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite with kitchenette and sitting area. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed including pans, dishes and silverware. We were also with our dog and were able to walk her safely around the hotel in the grassy areas. I would not hesitate to stay here again!
The breakfast was not included but was available for a charge. Location was great. Hotel was well appointed & the room was very nice & the size was good. There was a patio outside a sliding door as we had a ground floor room but it was raining so hard we did not go outside. Parking onsite was adequate
Albeit loud noises from nighttime trains, the hotel does have everything for comfortable stay. Also, good values for price. The property is also quite new and locates near shops and marts. The hotel provides a lot of complementary things too, like "welcoming cookies" (ran out fast).
This was literally the only hotel with available rooms in the entire area. So it wasn't really a choice to stay here. There is a pool but it didn't look super clean. Considering the state of the rest of the hotel we didn't take advantage of it.
We have stayed here several times and will be back. Always clean and comfortable. Very good bar and restaurant area. Great variety of breakfast foods. Within walking distance of lovely historic Kingston.
This hotel needs a total remodel. Faucets, shower and bathtub old, and dirty. Looks like air vent in bathroom and air-condition is the room has never Benn cleaned, see picks.
Everything!!! The location was perfect for walking to shops & restaurants. Beautiful historic home nestled in the heart of Kingston’s historic stockade district.
