This is a spectacular B&B. A one bedroom apartment that's twice as big as our Parisian flat, in an 18th century house, decorated with taste and an attention for every detail. The breakfast was delicious. Patrick is knowledgeable about the area and incrédule helpful and welcoming. His dog is a heartbreaker. We enjoyed our stay very much.

What's not told in advance to property was under renovation. There was not even a chair in the lobby. Decision was morning coffee, that was no furniture. All and no breakfast, just a store-bought my fun and orange in a bag. The upside is the staff. We're very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. No discounts were offered because of no breakfast.
The host Sandro was very accommodating. We were treated like we were at home. This will definitely be our hideaway spot from now on. It was quiet and peaceful. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets. We already have booked return visits. Suggested to our host that something like a Continental breakfast and some evening cookies on the coffee bar would be nice for early travelers or late arrivals. Especially because there's no restaurants close by.

We really enjoyed our stay here.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is a very old historical building in town. It has lots of character and quirks of a home built so long ago . We loved that part of it. It's lovely inside, very comfortable and clean. Good hot water and pressure in the shower. A very comfortable bed. Quiet at night. The host was warm and friendly . He was there to help out with anything needed. We recommend staying here .

My husband and i liked most the concern shown to us about the ice machines wasn't working. An employee from the laundry department walked to a convenient store for the visiting guest for ice. That stood out to us most, not even receiving a tip after being offered.
Other than that service, was professional.

Very, as they say, "quaint area".
Very, as they say, "quaint area". Old architectural houses to look at. A great little coffee shop, Muddy Waters Coffeehouse on West Main St. You can walk to a lot of places there. The Culpepper Inn is a great bed and breakfast.

There are lots of Hotel options in the area.
There are lots of Hotel options in the area. I would not recommend staying at this hotel at all. Rooms are dirty and smell of cigarette smoke. TVs not working. Do yourself a favor and move on don't stay here.

EC is a delightful city!!
EC is a delightful city!! The downtown area is perfect for walking, especially along the water. Numerous shops and restaurants are now open. We especially liked the "P" on the causeway for dinner, and the Colonial restaurant for breakfast.
Patrick was very accommodating, professional and friendly. He's doing a great job helping revitalize Elizabeth City by providing such enjoyable stays to his guests who are in town to check out EC and the surrounding areas. Patrick has great menu choices and he's an excellent breakfast cook as well! All items on menu are good sized portions and delish.
We really enjoyed our time here. Peaceful, picturesque location provides a restful stay; it's in a quiet area, so no hustle and bustle. Has a bed & breakfast feel to it; Sandro was an excellent host, and makes a mean pizza! The nearby town of Elizabeth City is cute and reviving, with some nice spots for eating, drinking & socializing.
The hotel is perfect...it is close to restaurants and not to far from ECSU which was the reason for the visit to drop my son off to college..the hotel is nice and would give the staff a chance to redeem themselves....there are a few other hotels around the area but this one is the best I have seen down there..
It was a simple room - nothing fancy. But it was clean and comfortable and had everything you’d expect in a hotel room. No usb chargers, so plan to charge with an outlet. Location is good. You can easily access your room from the parking lot. The lady in the office is really nice! I’d stay again.
Some staff was very nice
There is two that is destroying the property they are not hotel or for that that matter to be in the public eye for they attract the wrong type of people and the people who do stay that aree ordinary don't deserve to be subjected to the invironment the
The location is great for Elizabeth City. Walking distance to the quaint downtown. Great food suggestions from our innkeeper. Breakfast was very good and Patrick served us right on time.
