Traffic can be a headache during peak hours so we would recommend traveling in the off peak times to sightsee etc. It's definitely not the midwest, people seemed snobby or rude most places and looked at me funny when I said excuse me if I walked by anyone in a tight area. No-one else excused themselves or tried to avoid colliding down the busy morning sidewalks downtown or in shops/restaurants. My adult daughter stated it's because we are from the midwest & people do things diff here.

Great place to visit...location is great for area, price is inflated for a Hilton and for location! This hotel is squeezed between another hotel and a strip plaza. Stay closer to Pearl St for better food and better location. The a/c unit in this place is very noisy. I found this to be an average hotel for the prce and skipped out on the burgers and nachos on the menu, surrounding area has much better food with cheaper prices. Also there is a charge to park a car there that most hotels don't have.

We came into town for a football game.
We came into town for a football game. CU has the most hostile and aggressive fans that we have ever encountered. We travel to a lot of college games and were warned by a number of friends and locals about this beforehand but were definitely not prepared for the vicious and obnoxious behavior exhibited by students and adults. It took away from the experience at this fabulous stadium.
Lots of restaurants and hiking trails but definitely not the friendliest city that we have every visited, though Flatiron coffee shop is amazing.

Boulder is the perfect destination for an outdoor visit.
Boulder is the perfect destination for an outdoor visit. Hiking everywhere, bike trails everywhere! Pearl Street offers shopping and food. There was even a mile run downtown when we visited! Try Audrey's Pizza Garage and Sweet Cow for ice cream. If you hike, use the fee park and ride shuttle bc trailhead parking is tough.
I stayed at the hotel for 4 days to photograph a CU Football game. Everything about this hotel is outstanding. The front desk staff is helpful and friendly. The room was clean, and contained everything you would expect from a great hotel. I had a great view of the city and mountains. The hotel environment was super quiet and close to everything you might want to do in Boulder. On game day, the staff told me of a path to take to walk to Folsom field, saving some time. I plan on staying at this terrific hotel in future visits to Boulder!
Oh, Basecamp Boulder. It is a bit quirky with a cool vibe, kind of masking the fact that it is indeed a motel. Best part was the nice staff, Cameron & John were great. The lobby has a little cafe attached that had good lattes, but came with a half frozen bagel that you put in the toaster yourself. The outside firepit at night was nice. We walked to a very good Mexican restaurant close by for dinner. Ample parking. One of the closer motels to campus. It was fine for our overnight stay as we were only there to visit U of Colorado.
The Bradley Boulder Inn is a tastefully designed and decorated Inn. Bedrooms are large and comfortable and the common room is just gorgeous. Breakfast is varied and plentiful and during the day some goodies and fruit are available. Personnel is friendly. The self-check in worked well. The Inn is right off Boulder's downtown Pearl Street and just a couple of blocks away from the car-free outdoor "Mall" section. This was my second stay there and I would most definitely visit again.
Beautiful historic hotel, with "museum" exhibitions throughout the hotel's common areas which include couches and a fireplace. The lobby of the hotel is gorgeous, and the restaurant is staffed by friendly staff (especially our server Danny) and delicious food. Everything about this hotel is wonderful, the location, the comfort, the view of the mountains from the hotel. We loved Boulder and Hotel Boulderado is one of the main reasons why it was such an awesome experience.
Terrible place stay away from it’Hyatt place at Boulder is filthy unlike other Hyatt
The staff is terrible they have no respect fir customers
I had issues with my room on checking, no internet, dirty room another lady had issues and seen the front desk staff arguing with her because she wanted fresh towels because her room wasn’t serviced.
No AC in common areas no aeration no Covid measures.
The pool was nasty they just don’t clean. Very disappointed their excuse is Covid.
Enjoying the sound of the river while having a coffee on the picnic bench and planning the day ahead is one of the nicest things about this place, on top of really friendly and helpful staff and a decent room. A couple of issues with checking-in, nothing to do with A-lodge, but they were super helpful. Something tells me this place is really popping when a good crowd is staying. Lovely walk to downtown along the river. Great beer options too.
The location is just two blocks from downtown, the room had a really comfortable king sized bed
and had a small fridge, a microwave, direct tv with more than 80 channels, an ample closet with hangers ,a great shower with hot water and shampoo and soap and a hair dryer and plenty of towels, and the room was
exceptionally clean. I was truly pleasantly surprised and told the owner, Samantha.
Foot of the Mountain is on the western edge of Boulder and about a mile to downtown and to "The Hill". My adult kids and I stayed for a ski vacation and its 45 min to 2 hours from most of the Colorado ski resorts. There is a hot tub but only for a couple of the rooms so if that is important, read carefully. Simple Breakfast was just what we needed. Thanks Patty and the rest of the staff!
The location was ideal.
The room was spacious and bed comfortable.
Breakfast was eclectic and all personal preferences were kindly met.
The personal attention given by the staff was impressive and appreciated.
The large lounge area was a big plus, particularly the snug seating in the library area.
Computer and printing availability was useful.
The breakfast was what I expect at a hotel. The breakfast room was a bit small but the breakfast attendant was very nice and friendly! The bed was super comfortable and, unlike so many hotels, it was very quiet and in a quiet neighborhood. Also, the hotel was the least expensive room (at least $100 cheaper) in Boulder.
Rustic motel directly at the foot of the mountain and close to the Boulder Creek. Nice breakfast and employees. But rustic is the theme. Don't expect all new bathrooms or furniture. Overall a very sweet motel and a nice place to stay, close to walking pathes and only a short walk away from Boulder city center.
Our king bed room was more than a room, it qualified as a suite. It had a great view of the mountains and it had a balcony! It was immaculate. Included were a small refrigerator, plush robes, a comfortable sitting area and great shower. This is a great hotel and the location could not be better.
It was a small variety for breakfast but the everything was fresh and clean. I enjoyed the coffee in the room as well. The indoor pool and hot tub area was clean as well. Plenty of towels and washcloths for the stay. I especially enjoyed the convince of everything in walking distance.
Wonderful hotel! Rooms are spacious and offer a comfortable space for two people to work at a desk. The breakfast is one of the best we’ve had at a hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. Location is great. Overall I can highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.
Counter service was very nice. Asked for an extra blanket and they got it right away. It is great location but noisy as it street is one of the main ones into Boulder downtown. It was clean and well appointed. A refurbished motel room.
Great cozy cottage, with a fantastic location near the Boulder Flatirons and its trails, and still close enough to Boulder with its restaurants. We loved the Dining Hotel, and the entire atmosphere.
It’s hard to find a reasonably priced hotel in Boulder so I was glad to find this one. It’s very basic, but very clean, comfortable bed, kitchenette in the room, and laundry on-site.
