My husband said his breakfast was just barely warm the first day. The second day, I think it was hot. He brought back lovely muffins for me in the room.
The room was spacious, very comfortable.

There was ACTIVE Construction in the lobby creating noise and dust. Certainly putting the staff on edge.
Then final price was almost 30% higher.

I found my stay in Bethsida an excellent experience because it was easy to commute from one place to another. Restaurants, shopping malls, DC metro station etc were easily accessible. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is nice. I loved the water pressure from the shower and the view from my window.
You will find staying in this hotel and area a joy except to remember requesting for your room to be cleaned daily otherwise, you get to sleep in an uncleaned room daily. The hotel serves only breakfast so be ready to find good restaurants around for your lunch or breakfast and dinner. I visited TATE which is across the road daily for a superb meal.

Cleanliness was excellent, food was excellent, staff was friendly and helpful. However, there was no shuttle, the pool was small and unavailable most of the time, and when it was ,it was filled with children.
No ability to stream new movies or selection. Would have paid to see movies but they were not available.

I always liked Bethesda, for its village atmosphere and wide range of shops and restaurants. My favourite restaurant this visit was Mon Ami Gabi, a perfect and authentic French restaurant (although the staff say they are concerned that a planned revamp will lose it some of its charm).
I was sorry to see that some favourite stores have gone, Orvis on Wisconsin Avenue and the book store on Bethesda and Arlington.
There used to be a Ranger Surplus store in Bethesda, now there isn't even one in Rockville......

I had a great stay for three nights. It was quiet and comfortable with a fantastic bed. I used the gym during my stay, it has excellent new equipment, and the hotel is located in a good neighborhood. I will certainly be back.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and large.
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and large. On the negative side, there were issues with the credit card machine on check in, only decaf coffee in our room, and our wifi was shut off in the morning well before check out.
Pros: My room was spacious and very comfortable. The decor was beautiful. In case you didn't want to eat at the restaurants in the hotel, you do have the option of choosing some of the great restaurants nearby. I felt very safe when walking the streets at night. The metro is conveniently located near the hotel. So you can go downtown and visit the museums or other historical sites. Don't forget to visit the Zoo!
Con: Parking. $24 per night
I liked almost everything. Location near metro station and all restaurants, big room, good fitness facility. Breakfast was not bad. Coffeemaker, fridge and microwave were very useful. And our room had the most comfortable matrasses and pillows that I ever experienced. Even my home bed is less comfortable. I wanted to check pillows brand, but forgot.
Now that the COVID environment has dampened it would be of tremendous value to all
Customers that the continental breakfast return since the hotel rates haven’t changed. Breakfast was traditionally factored into the room rates so………. When will the Marriott give customers the full benefits of choosing Marriott?
The staff were extremely nice and welcoming. However, the entire breakfast staff made my stay and experience the best. They went above and beyond my expectations. When I travel for work through DC. The Embassy Suites Bethesda is my new number one hotel. Great job to everyone.
I was here for a funeral- used to live in bethesda, md. I loved location and the room was very comfortable. it was quiet on my floor which I appreciated since I was coming and going to support my bereaved friends.
All the staff I came into contact with were fantastic. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. The room was well appointed and comfortable. Also had breakfast in the restaurant and it was fantastic!
Nice hotel, would recommend it! Just some minor maintenance issues were open, like the shower head dripping and no water adjustment of the temperature possible (just boiling hot water one day!!)
So glad I chose this hotel. Perfect location but more important, it was a very nice room. Staff was extremely professional and courteous. Will definitely return for my next stay to Bethesda.
Room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant service was very good. I was a bit surprised that the Wi-Fi was not free. What modern hotel does not provide free Wi-Fi?
Well equiped room and comfortable
Walkability situation of the hotel (perfect near the close center of Bethesda and the metro station)
Good and free wi-fi
