Perfect place to get away, easy to get to, lots to see and explore if you are looking to absorb some unique history, natural beauty and serenity. I found an unadvertised picnic area next to the river just up the road from the Inn, perfect picnic dinner spot. Food and total environment at Abiquiu Inn was lovely, but don't miss a stop at Bode's if you need to pick up some fresh produce, groceries or excellent baked goods. This was an ideal destination for traveling solo.

Stunning setting, nights of quiet and stars, friendly staff and guests giving sense of security, 360 degree vies from the Mesa, hikes on site, and wonderful base for exploration of north central New Mexico: Abiquiu, Santa Fe, Taos, Chimayo.... And a wholesome breakfast in a large dining hall or under the trees to start you off! The dorm rooms with bunk beds are simple yet functional and clean - we slept so well, never closing the door! Walking to the shower room in the morning was a joy, with the view spread out in every direction! The day before we left, a new set of guests arrived, with many active children, yet at 10 PM all fell silent, and the night was as peaceful as ever! We'll be back!!!

No one there for check in even though we had talked to the front desk for directions about 5 min. Before finding hotel. Service at dinner was impossible to get … waited at least 25 min for water. WAitress showed up as I was getting up to find someone. Since this is really the only place to stay if you want to visit Georgia Okeefe home , they do not have to make an effort .. and don’t.

The location was ideal for our tour at the Georgia O’Keeffe Homes and Studio. Our room was comfortable, spacious, and decorated with beautiful Southwestern objects. It was hot during our stay, so I appreciated the heat pump cooling system—it was very quiet, unlike the AC/heat units many hotels install into the wall.

The Inn was a very quaint and cute place to stay with the New Mexico style and the Georgia O’Keeffe history all around. Beds very comfortable, rooms very large. Beautiful courtyard off our room. Delicious food at the restaurant. Perfect location for seeing all Abiquiu and the surrounding area has to offer!

The inn is more like a zen retreat than a “hotel”. Beautiful grounds, rooms that feel like home, and staff who really understand great service. They take pride in the property!

We love the location and our 2 bedroom, with a kitchenette was located near the back boundary where we had a lovely and private view of a horse pasture.
