It was a cozy place with a beautiful lake view. The hotel rooms were in separate townhouses. Clean and nice with friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking and the breakfast was delicious with a wide selection. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi didn't work in my room but worked in other areas. Highly recommend this place. Additionally, there was a lovely cafe nearby that provided great take-away options for the morning, which I brought along for my clients.

The town is popular as a gastronomic "getaway", with many restaurants offering local and global delicacies. It's very easy to get around and the town is well connected by train and bus with other cities.

Coming from South East England, Växjö seemed, very, very, very quiet. Quieter than a Sunday during the first lockdown in England. It was not unusual to see no cars on a main road.
Växjö and Sweden as a whole is very well organised. Hardly any litter, no graffiti, everyone very polite. Most people spoke English and were eager to help if we needed help.
The bus service is excellent, the timetables are accurate to the minute.
If you like peace and quiet it's a good place to go. If you're looking for clubs and nightlife, Sweden is the wrong country for you.

The cathedral (domkyrkan) is outstanding, with magnificent etched glass, coloured glass, glass accents, befitting this little city in Sweden’s famous glass blowing district. The Småland Museum is also very good, with an excellent depiction of the history of glass blowing in Sweden. Its exhibition about wood is exceptional, too. Växjö itself, at least in the centre, is pretty and architecturally interesting.
We absolutely LOVED THE SHOWER! As a world traveler I do have high expectations of the rooms I rent to stay. This one was an apartment fully equipped with absolutely everything we needed! It was spotless clean and easy to access. We were so happy with our stay we booked for another three nights. The shower was amazing! The water pressure the water quality the space the towels! The only thing I would suggest is to have an air fan or air conditioning because it was hot! Will stay again for sure and I highly recommend!
Really clean sizeable room with large bathroom and kitchen. It even included a washing machine. I parked right next to the hotel so as to not pay parking fees - there were loads of spaces. It's a really safe place - opposite an old people's home. There's a petrol station and a Lidl close by. Bed was really comfy. Wifi was super strong! Vaxjo is just a few minutes drive away - an interesting little place. If I hadn't been on a schedule I'd have stayed another night.
The location is superb, right next to the lake. Far enough from the road so no noise. We had a room on the ground floor in the one story building. The room was of nice size, had a terrace where we had our bottle of wine. Breakfast was served in the nearby restaurant due to the Holiday. Good quality. Hotel grounds are very spacious and well maintained.
Room amenities were of good quality.
Very spacious twin room, comfortable beds and plenty of storage.
Great variety of food options at the breakfast buffet (included in the room rate). Coffee/tea available in reception area 24/7
Excellent location at the end of the pedestrianised centre in Växjö, 10 mins walk from the central train station.
Wonderful breakfast and very dog-friendly hotel! For our little Yorkie, there was a bed, water cup, food cup, and snacks in the room when we came! Nice :) ... and very friendly front desk staff. The room was a good size and the hotel is at a great location in the middle of Vaxjö!
The location was perfect as only a few minutes from the central restaurant shopping area and about 15 minutes from the Vaxjosjon parkrun. The breakfast was superb with such a variety of food and plentiful. The room was spacious and comfortable for two friends.
A comforting and relaxing environment managed by a caring staff. The hotel suits both couples and families, which makes for a great stay for everyone.
Big kudos for the amazing breakfast; high quality ingredients and so much more.
A little far from the center of Vaxjo, but right next to campus. Easy instructions for accessing the apartment. Super clean and great amenities: Gym, Sauna, outside grilling area, etc....
Comfortable hotel close to train station and walkable downtown. Restaurant/pub was full of locals at supper time. We enjoyed cold smoked salmon with craft beer at hotel.
