I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Skytteholm in Ekerö, and I am delighted to say that it was an unforgettable experience. From the breathtaking location to the excellent hospitality and top-notch facilities, there was nothing I could fault. The location of the hotel is simply stunning. It is situated on an island in the middle of a picturesque lake, offering beautiful views of the surrounding nature. The tranquil setting was perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life and unwinding. I enjoyed taking walks along the lakeside and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The staff at Hotel Skytteholm deserve special praise. They were extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. Every one of my requests was promptly met, and they went out of their way to ensure my stay was enjoyable, making the experience even more pleasant.

It is a lovely little swedish house in great nature. I loved it to swim in the lake or paddle out with the boat and to walk over the Island. The people there are very friendly.

We had everything we needed in the kitchen for simple cooking, and the place is equipped with a washer/dryer combo machine which is a must when you have young kids. The bathroom was a comfortably good size for a family of 4. The garden and outdoor seating area with a pond of pretty fish was a pleasure for our kids. Our lovely and very helpful host, Jonathan, was so kind to let our son feed the fish too! The location was great, offering tranquility for the evenings and perfect for sightseeing as it is close to Ekerö and Bromma for trips to Stockholm via public ferry/train/bus. It is also very close to good hiking spots! We have good friends in Sweden so we will definitely keep this address for our next trip to see them!

The only thing that went great was the people at the front desk, who were very kind and tried to solve all our problems.

Thew entire property was exceedingly beautiful. It is surrounded by lots of nature and right next to the water. You look out onto the water while having breakfast outside. The rooms are clean and the staff is incredibly nice.

Breakfast was great. The location was great with everything I need right in short walking distance. Also it was nice being able to drink the tap water.

I stayed for the weekend when I went to see Taylor Swift. The hotel fully embraced the weekend of Taylor playing by decorating the hotel and playing her music in the reception which really added to my weekend. The staff were also super friendly.
