The best of the best was my host, Maria. Maria took care of everything I needed. I was on a pilgrimage to Fatima when I broke a foot. Maria went out of her way to take care of me.
Thank you Maria you are the best

The room with the stunning panoramic view was clean and comfortable. The food downstairs was very good and reasonably priced. Parking was easy and accessible. The center of town was a good 25 minute walk so we drove and parked in the central underground parking lot. Easy. Nice shops and the Porto del Sol is a beautiful park with another stunning view.

Santarem is a small city north of Lisbon which is non touristy with a small but pleasant old town with a maze of narrow streets and old churches.
the city park the Portas de Sol is a wonderful place to relax in the shade.
It is within the old fortifications on a high ridge with stunning views of the Tejo river below.
The city has good traditional restaurants which are popular and cheap but close by 10pm.
City is a good base for surrounding region and has good transport links in all directions.Lisbon is less than an hour by train and Evora is ninety minutes by bus.

Santarém is called the portuguese capital of Gothic style in Portugal. Wonderful tyles in the market and the railway station. Excellent meat and fruits. May be one of the hottest places in Portugal in Summer, almost 40° C.
I've not stayed in many hostels and I did stay in a private room but I thought that Villa Graca had much more of a feel of an upscale hotel than a hostel. The room was large and clean with a lovely view to the Graca church, staff were very friendly and helpful and it was nice to have a small common area to sit after check out whilst I was waiting for my bus. Breakfast was delivered in the morning in a nice little basket and they even made an effort to get it to me early so I could leave on the Camino. Thank you for a nice stay!
This is a beautiful, working farm and stables set conveniently close to Santarem, across the river. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, without being intrusive. We felt like we were old friends staying for a visit.
The room was large and comfortable,, with very easy access to the fenced garden area, where we could let our dog run free. Breakfast was a very lovely, continental-style buffet with some of the best of local produce.
The place was clean, at the center of town but quite an uphill walk to get into Santarem if you are walking a camino. A restaurant is downstairs and many cafes around the corner. I can hear footsteps above me and those going up and down the steps, as well as some sounds from the street— but if you are tired after a day of walking, it doesn’t matter. Overall very good experience.
This property exceeded our expectation. Rute was on hand when needed. The whole place was tranquil but set in the heart of Santarem. The pool are and all faculties we’re amazing. We would highly recommend and will be back if we are visiting the region again.
Even tho i didnt know of Santarém, it still had many nice places to go to in the neighbourhood. The bakery in the streets of the little shops had the best Pastel de Nata. We went to a lot of other places/cities in Portugal but theirs was really the best.
Ana was very helpful. She was very accommodating and even offered to do our laundry. She gave us a map of Santarém and pointed out the highlights and restaurants. The location close to downtown and the train was great. We were very pleased.
Receptionists we’re extremely helpful with everything and even printed our forms for the airport. The breakfast had a good selection and they did their best to make sure nothing ran out.
General cleanliness of the hotel was good.
From start to finish Carlos was the perfect host. We would definitely recommend a stay here if you are in Santarem and looking for accommodation. Breakfast was a great addition to the stay. Thank you Carlos 😁

Such a cool spot. Stylish interior and that courtyard: wow. The wine and cheese basket was a lovely touch. The location in the old town of Santarém is great. Super welcoming host.
Whomever did the room decor had very good taste. Room was clean and a pleasure to stay in. Everything matched and was themed to "cereal Vitoria". I had room 32. Very impressed.
