Spectacular location with ocean view. Interesting walk to waterfall from Hotel. A wonderful breakfast was included. Dinner available in the Hotel was also good.
The infinity pool and bar really added a spa feeling to our stay.

Very nice small town with a nice beach and good restaurants. There are 2 levadas to walk. There is a small shop in town where you can find everything you need. Ponta do Sol in itself is nothing really special.
Ponta do Sol in itself is nothing really special. But given the fact that you have rental car you can just discover the whole island. It is highly recommended to visit Calheta, there is a very nice harbour and little boulevard. Must go there is restaurant Manifattura Di Gelato. Another very good restaurant is La Vaca Negra in Funchal; best steaks ever!

Such a pretty little place - lots of winding streets - many pedestrian only, and good restaurants too. We mostly ate at the hotel, but also at a restaurant called Caprice which was fantastic and great value for money. We were delighted to find lots of interesting sculpture around the place which was fascinating, and the people were all very chilled and welcoming. The pavements are mostly cobbled, and of course there are lots of hills so challenging if your mobility is reduced as my parent's was - didn't stop us though - we just took our time and there were regular places to sit and rest along the way.

Its a very good place to base yourself as its very easy to get around the island from there, there are may different walks within a short drive.. It is a very small but quaint place. You get the most amazing sunsets in Ponta do Sol .

The views are amazing and the garden had so much to offer - from delicious fruit and herbs to relaxing spots from which to enjoy the views. The appartment itself has everything you need and was super clean. On top of that, Juan and Catia are amazing hosts, very kind and welcoming and always ready to help and offer advice. Ponta do Sol is a cute and relaxed town from which you can easily explore the rest of the island. All in all, it was a perfect stay and we couldn't wish for anything else!

The hotel is lovely with beautifully decorated and comfortable shared areas with wifi access. Wifi does not reach the rooms, but it’s an excellent opportunity to disconnect for a bit. The room was very comfortable and clean. There is no AC or fan, but we felt cool and quite comfortable despite our stay occurring during the peak summer heat. Generally you need a car, as the property is located high enough, though you can walk down to the beach, which takes 30 mins. Really helpful managers - Christian and Margaret. Great view from balcony. Barbecue facilities, though we didn’t use them, as there are plenty of restaurants in Ponta do Sol and Ribeira Brava.

Downstairs bedroom might be a bit noisy if the windows were open and the restaurant was noisy, but upstairs no problem. Look closely at your messages for finding the entrance to the unit. The instructions are clear and easy to follow so long as you look (unlike me hahaha), but the host answered the phone and was able to help.

A car is highly recommended, because although the #4 bus goes past the house, we could not work out the route. Alternatively a taxi is €8 from Ponta do Sol. The Levada Nova is only a couple of minutes away by car, and the walk along the valley with views across to the better known levada walks is spectacular.

Facility exceeded our expectations regarding space, parking place , hospitality and of course nice tarace view at the ocean. Bathroom and kitchen had all necesary facilities , with some welcome fruits. It was very nice place to relax and arrange trips across island.
