The location is a nice and quiet area. Also the hostess is a nice lady trying to help. A generous yard enables parking and a good relaxing time at a pool with a lawn and a comfortable sort of gazebo. A nice ambience altogether.

The property is beautiful, outstanding and fascinating. It would be wonderful to be there in summer with the pool and the outdoor dining. The staff were very friendly, casual and helpful. The manager gave us a free lunch to compensate for the problem with the shower. The port tasting was very good.

Set high up on the edge of a small village among the vines with an amazing view. A Portuguese family home that has kept its traditional feel but with all the 21st century mod cons for the perfect holiday. Well appointed bathrooms with walk in showers, lovely soft towels. Sitting by the pool in the evening with a glass of wine or on the balcony admiring the view after spending the day visiting well known Port and wine producing vineyards, or in our case a long days walk.
The host Elizabeth is a lovely lady, super helpful and gave us some lovely fresh Natas on arrival. Food and provisions can be purchased in the nearby town of Sabrosa.

An absolutely fantastic experience! The hosts that make you feel like you are their family. Amazing set of local snacks as a compliment on the arrival, port wine and a bottle of their red wine, incredible! The apartment itself is huuge and has everything and more than you can expect! Vitor and his lovely wife even gave us their warm clothes since we were too silly and mixed the weather, Vitor gave us a lift to a lovely restaurant close by where we had amazing dinner! I could go on and on and on. Absolutely highlight of our travels in Portugal! Me & mom were very happy! And the hostess gave us a lovely handmade present when we were leaving! I mean, they are fantastic! Thanks so mch!!!

The location, the peace and tranquillity of the wooded valley, the little working mill powered by the stream, the swimming pool in the garden, the bbq facilities if you needed them - all these things could not fail to make for a great visit. The owner herself went out of her way to ensure that we really had a great stay.
