Spa and pool were so nice :) STaff excellent. Breakfast was really really nice to sit and look out the big windows at the Portuguese countryside. Fancier then we normally stay in but got winter rates.

The location is very good, near the Polytechnic where I was with the job, being also near the city center by foot. Very clean, each day the towels were changed, also the view to the castle from the restaurant was amazing.

Leiria has a nice historic center which is worth a walk.
Leiria has a nice historic center which is worth a walk. It also has a beautifully landscaped area around the river along its entire length. Pleasant cafes and restaurants (Street R. Dr. Correia Mateus is full of great restaurants). You can spend 2-3 beautiful days here, a week seemed too long to me. It has good and frequent transport connections, a bus station right in the center. It was 50 minutes by bus to Nazaré.

A great quiet old town with lots of places of interest (of historical significance), museums, exhibitions, archaeological excavation sites, galleries, etc. There is a lot of well-preserved historical architecture either, manifesting the vein of 'Old Europe'. Lots of parks for a walking and hiking, equipped with bicycle tracks, old gothic-stylish cemetery. For those who may be longing for 'civilisation' (as I usually do either) there is a huge Leiria Shopping centre with everything needed. As well as there's Lidl (or two) in the city. Worth visiting either for short vacation or as a place of historic sightseeing.

We stayed in Leiria for 3 nights, which was about right. It is a working town with a flowing river, a nice old quarter, a few good value restaurants, and an imposing castle. Take a local bus to visit the monastery/church of Batalha

Small and cozy city with everything I need in walkable distances (for walk lovers. Amazing food places like Adega das Francesinhas with view to the Castle if you have the luck to have a free table outside.
The location is perfect, near everything you might need, 5min from the coach station which was good as we arrived there from Lisbon. The rooms are good and clean, we’ve stayed in the 8th floor and the views to the castle were stunning. Having a small kitchen is quite handy, we didn’t cook anything but there are pots, pans, plates and everything you need to cook a meal. We’re quite athletic so the fitness center was a major decision to book this hotel and it didn’t disappoint.

- It was hot so the pool was great to cool down.
- It is a place we know well and we have got to know Phillipa and Lucinda well as this is now the 4th time we have come.
- We enjoyed the freshly made breakfast rolls with ham and cheese, and croissants with homemade jam and the orange juice was sweet and delicious (like a lot of places in Portugal).
- Spacious room
The entire staff was extremely nice, friendly & extremely helpful. The room & bathroom were very roomy & clean. Bed was very firm but not uncomfortable. We were on the 7th floor and had a beautiful view of the Leiria Castle up on the hill. Breakfast was also an excellent value. Good selection of food & drinks. Would highly recommend this hotel.
We liked everything. Spacious room. Great location, only 6 minute walk to city centre.
Lift to all accommodation floors, with one flight of stairs to roof terrace with good view.
Staff very helpful. Excellent breakfast included.
Off street parking adjacent to Hotel with boom gate was free.
Wi-Fi good.
Absolutely beautiful, well-appointed apartment right in the middle of the historic center of Leiria. The host was incredibly generous with both her time and wig making guests feel as comfortable as possible. Certainly one of the best places we've ever stayed.
Excellent. Everything that you would expect in a continental hotel.
Good choice of breakfast items.
Staff were very happy to help you and have a good working relationship with each other.
Nothing worse then staff arguing and bickering with each other.
Outdated hotel, sink blocked, no hot water, showerhead cracked so waterflow spraying, mainroad outside too noisy so impossible to have window opened, no help possible with luggage, language problems, only french as second language.
The room had a nice view of the city and nearby hills. The bed was comfortable and the room warm on a cold night. We found free parking behind the hotel. There were restaurants and take-out nearby, within walking distance.
It was all about the great location, location, location. Parking was ample at the church at the end of the street a three minute walk. Leiria is beautiful, a must see city in Portugal.
Cheerful reception. Help in planning visit. Central position. Very favourable price/quality ratio. Hotel is not very large and sits on the top floor of a building, with fine views.
The location is great, the rooms are SUPER comfortable and the breakfast is very delicious! They even kept our luggage for the day, free of cost.
I highly recommend this hotel!
Excellent location and a very comfortable room. Super excellent cost-value ratio. I have stayed at hotels that cost 3 times as much and weren't as comfortable
