Breathtaking views of the mountains, right in the centre of Szczawnica. Spacious room - almost a suite - with balcony and very comfortable mattresses. Breakfast was amazing - so much choice, beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared. We did not try the pool and spa, but are planning to come back for a week of treatments.

Very clean facility with well arranged keys pickup (code to the box with keys given by the owner) within short walking distance to the centre of Szczawnica (10-15min). Extremely comfy beds. Well-arranged space in the fridge avoiding mixing products (numbered shelves). Kitchen was very well equipped with enough plates, cutlery, cooking equipment (pan, bowls etc.), dishwasher etc. Nice, green backyard and enough space to fit in all the cars. Our room had balcony with very nice view (mountain, town). Located a bit away from the main round so you can enjoy silence during the day and at night (no sounds of passing cars).

We enjoyed cabel cart to the top of the hill Palenica.
We enjoyed cabel cart to the top of the hill Palenica. We dont ski but we liked the view. We liked lunch in the Restaurant Maria next to the Lower park (Park Dolny). There are plenty grocery shops, clothes chops even cosmeticians shops. There is beautiful castle Niedzica nearby that is worth visit.
One thing that we were missing were more kid's playground and indoor playground. Because during our stay it rained and we had to search for different indoor activities.

The hotel is located in an excellent place- in the centre of the town, so everything is just a stone throw away. If you have several meetings in the town then you can conveniently nip into hotel in between meetings to change or take a shower.
Hotel has a conference room too.
The indoor swimming pool is located in the main building and is great, however if your room is in one of two smaller buildings then to get to the pool you must go outside, which is not great.
The car park on equipped with high tech so you don't have to keep the ticket as the cameras will recognise your reg and will open automatically-one less worry....
The food is delicious and always fresh, staff are really polite and hard working.
Complimentary WiFi is OK, but just OK, it tends to drop signal a lot....
Daily room service, complimentary slippers, towels and bathrobes in the rooms , very comfy beds too. Our room.had a nice view from the balcony.
From the hotel you can either go to the main street and the park or to the promenade along the Grajcarek River, which will take you to the Slovakian border- a very nice walk or bike ride.

Szczawnica is for sure the best place to explore the Pieniny mountains and its surrounding. Directly located at the Dunajec river and the mountains it offers a great variety of things to do such a hiking up to multiple peaks, bicycling or rafting on the river. The city as such is well developed and has its own charm; historical sins like old communistic buildings are disappearing.
My personal recommendations are
1. Hike up to Sokolica and Trzy Korony. Either do it as one hike or in two separated
2. Walk from Szczawnica to the Red Monastery (Cerveny Klastor) through the Pieniny walk through the Dunajec gorge. For the way back do the rafting either from the Slovak side at the monastery or the polish side in Sromowce

There is a trail towards Sokolica starts in the city center which includes 1 min ferry ride across Dunajec. From Sokolica there's further trail to Trzy Korony or your can drive to Kroscienko and hike from there.
Receptionist was superb and welcoming, a lovely breakfast with very helpful staff cooking scrambled egg to perfection. Great selection at breakfast. The view from the balcony was superb. Very clean hotel, I mean spotless. Mattress was firm (my partner really liked this). Easy walk directly into Szczawnica and everything it has to offer. We thought superb hotel and value for money. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so welcomed.
The hotel is absolutely great. I have enjoyed my stay there and will for sure come back. I liked the fact that even if the weather is not perfect for a walk you can spend your day at the hotel SPA area were saunas and pool are amazing. It is very spacious. Highly recommended ! Especially if you like hiking.
A clean room with a large balcony, and nice mountains view. Good location, above most other facilities in Szczawnica so quiet and less smog, close to Plac Dietla. Bed quite comfortable and wide. Swimming pool and spa area. Great Easter breakfast. Nice and helpful staff. Overall feels clean.
Extremely friendly and competent staff. Delicious breakfasts with plenty of food ro choose from.
Excellent location in the heart of the town. Convenient car park with plenty of spaces, the gates open up automatically after you register your number plates at the reception.
The location is great, online check in process really smooth (not sure where all these negative comments come from). The apartment is cosy and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a good bathroom.
10/10 contact with the facilities and bonus points for recycling!
