We spent wonderful days here at the turn of the year 2023-2024. We would like to thank the friendly and attentive staff. We were particularly pleased with the rich and delicious breakfast, the car park at the house at no extra cost and the very nice sauna for two people, which we used often. We also received a bottle of sparkling wine at the turn of the year, which was a very nice surprise. We would also like to mention the local train connections within walking distance, with which we were in the old town of Gdansk in about 30 minutes or within 10 minutes in Sopot. We would love to come back and can highly recommend the hotel.
Greetings Kerstin and Dirk

This was second time i visited the Hotel Blik with same room. And reason is , hotel is very nice with good staff, good breakfast, very close to beach. Even the bus stop is right outside the hotel. This place is very peaceful then Sapot & Gadansk with less crowd.

I and my wife visited the 2023 Gdynia Film Festival and stayed in Gdynia for two days. I recommend this town to visitors who like beaches, cycling, and hiking on the shore. There are also several interesting museums.

Tje Gdynia is a beautiful city, 1 full day I think is enough to get most from the city. To start with the famous port, where you have the museum ships. There on the port you can chill, sing, talke a walk, jog and much more. The beach offers a great relaxation. For children there is a playing area.
The city is tidy and clean offers great cnnections to Sopot and Gdansk.

Gdynia was close to an event I was attending.

The neighbouring Sopot and Gdansk are much nice places to visit.
So, if one has a car the accommodation may be a good base for visiting Gdynia and Sopot.
The Aquarium and a few museums are worthwhile visiting in Gdynia.
Although I would prefer to stay in Gdansk and Sopot if I was visiting those, rather than commuting

Gdynia sucks. There you have it. Case closed.
Gdynia sucks. There you have it. Case closed.
Traffic everywhere, no pedestrian-only streets, a serious lack of restaurants. No iconic buildings, museums, or anything really of note. It's the wet dream of a brutalist architect come true.
With that said, there a few pearls hidden within the concrete djungle, especially next to the sea. If you walk east along the beach, you'll eventually get to Gdynia Redlowo, which is a cozy little touristic community, with a few restaurants, bars, and, well, the beach.
All in all, unless you're right at the water, there's just nothing to see.
A daytrip, sure, but frankly you're better off staying in Sopot or Gdansk.

Simply an outrage to stay in this hotel.
Simply an outrage to stay in this hotel. Our stay for one night was unfortunately marked by a very negative experience. When we arrived, when we asked for a parking space for our car, we were told that there were no hotel parking spaces. we were handed a sketch with the option to drive around the block and park there. We had to pay for this parking space. so we started looking for this parking lot. One hour after the sketch I looked for the parking lot and couldn't find it. even the police station in the neighborhood was contacted by us. they couldn't help us either. the parking lot was only signposted, the barrier that had to be found was simply not there and after an hour of searching we returned to the hotel unnerved. I don't blame the manedem staff. they are handed the sketch and told they sell it to the guest. the management has completely failed here. This is not worthy of a 5 star hotel and a no go. We no longer visit the hotel because it had a negative impact on our stay. two positive things. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is really good.
Great location (about 18 minutes from the "Gdynia Główna" railway station and 25 minutes from the beach on foot). Would definitely stay again. The apartment is renovated, well maintained and clean, the owner arranged a bed for two especially for our arrival. The owner is a reliable and kind person, she gave us a lot of helpful tips concerning places worth visiting and a list of recommended restaurants in Gdynia and was always available to contact if needed.
Newish hotel, a few km from the centre of Gdynia, but easily accessible by frequent buses (10 min). Supermarket and pizzeria at 2 min walk. On the edge of a park, quiet surrondings. Rooms have a balcony to enjoy cool evenings. Choose your breakfast from one of the 6 set types available, nicely served and very good coffee, but no fruits, yogurt available.
Excellent place to stay. Great location in a quiet part of town. Very friendly host. Apartment itself very nice, clean, spacious and well equipped. Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you're looking for a place to stay in Gdynia then "Kwatera nad Morzem - Orłowo" is the place to stay 👍 Will definitely come back when next opportunity arise 👍
The house was in a good position but they charge more than hotel with not standard the house was dirty there were not even enough plastic bag or toilette paper or soap . We complained on the phone twice and they were super rude . With the same price you go to Marriott hotel but at least you have the same facilities!!!
Hotel is around 1.00 Km from Gdansk Train station. Taxi will take around 16 Zloty. Hotel has a attached Thai Restaurant which Offers you wide variety of dishes. You will get Breakfast in same Thai restaurant and is good one. Best part I liked about Receptionist that they do extra efforts to help you.
Excellent location near everything! Close to trains, the beach, shopping and amazing restaurants. Highly recommend! Best area to stay in Gdynia. Host was very kind and hospitable, also gave us a list of places to visit :) very clean and quiet place. Also a great price!
good location with pretty view into the sea 🤓 staff very helpful. all clean and pretty as u can expect from Marriott company. comfy bed and great breakfast with plenty to choose from. nothing to complain. rooms feel a bit business style but reception very modern.
Very convenient location.
Hotel offers underground parking, which is located in other building 10 minutes walk from hotel. It was a good option, because we dodn’t use our car during the stay and municipal parking fee is high.
Good breakfast selection.
although the location is a bit far from center the hostel is 5 min away from station Gdynia Chylonia. from where you can go elsewhere city center, Orłowo, Sopot, Gdańsk by train SKM. as well there goes bus S, which is 3 min from hostel.
Amazing view of the sea and the city, best possible location in Gdynia, a short walk to the city beach and all top attractions, free parking in the underground garage, spacious apartment, pretty good beds, friendly and punctual hosts.
Best personal ever! Best breakfast for 3 star hotel! Super friendly. Very clean. Very helpful. No doubt, the best 3 star hotel I've ever been! Definitely, I will return if will go to Gdynia!
The location of the hotel is excellent. Close to the city centre and the train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was of a good size and the bed was comfortable.
Clean, well prepared, has all the basic equipment. The most important is the view, Gdynias panorama is wonderful from the big terrace. Communication with owner was good.
