Cute little hut, they included breakfast and left hot water outside for us in the morning. Happy to help with organising trips although is cheaper if you do it yourself. Comfortable.

It’s rustic for sure but amazing staff, awesome location, super helpful and very friendly place. Sabang is beautiful and if you as a European want to get out of your comfort zone and get in touch with nature then this is for you.
I’m a city guy but can’t deny I absolutely loved cafe Sabang and will return for sure.
Thank you for an amazing stay and I look forward to seeing you again. X

Very basic, but good. We had no problems with anything. It is directly at the beach, which is great.

Pro:
The one thing that makes this place special is its location and amazing infinity pool with what’s probably the best view in any of Palawan. The view over the palm trees to the ocean is hard to beat. The pool itself is great too. The staff is friendly. Check out until 12 is super convenient.
Things to consider:
You know there’s no AC when you book - but they only have one relatively ineffective standing fan, no ceiling fan. It was scorching hot at night, the most uncomfortable night we spent anywhere in the Philippines in a hotel. A ceiling fan would go a long way.
The room set up is a bit strange with a total of 4 beds, which means that there’s hardly space for anything. Good for groups and families of course. Hopefully those people get more than 1 fan though …
The food in the restaurant was very good - but also incredibly pricey. 600 PHP for a main dish is just touristy to the extreme, especially in this area. You don’t have too much of a choice for dinner though, if you don’t want to drive far …
Breakfast does start at 7AM, which is nice, though in reality it means people show up to work at 7 and then still have to prepare everything ;) at least everything is super fresh that way.
Overall quite a few negative points, but the relatively low price of ~50€/night as well as those views from the pool mostly make up for it. I still wouldn’t spend another night here, at least not during a period with hot temperatures.

Every day I walked from the hotel to Sabang wharf on the beach and on one day had coffee, adobo and itlog in a small cafe there. Everyone was very friendly, and I bought some Pasalubong, when they did not have my tee shirt size, they went to another shop to get it for me and to get change when I gave them 1000 peso note. I asked directions to the falls, but no one was exactly sure where it was or how long it would take to get there. The place was secure (police station at the wharf and coastguard and army regularly on patrol in the area. I eventually found the park that a friend recommended (5 km from the hotel) and had an excellent buffet lunch there twice and again they made Chester very welcome, the park was free and had some interesting, recycled artworks and a tribute to the devastation in the area by Typhoon Odette- well worth a visit. Also visit Buenavista viewpoint- the local community run it and you can get Buko juice, coffee, snacks and Pasalubong plus take great photos of the bay

Sabang has some nice attractions but it is not a good place to stay. There is not a lot of Restaurants, they are rather poor conditions but prices are high! Beach is ok but I have seen many better in Palawan. Underground River and jungle trail are must see.

This seems pretty underrated going from info on the internet. Sabang is very beautirul jungle with white sand beaches, but its also a bit of a tourist trap due to the Underground River. Recommend visiting this natural wonder, but also spending a night or two here afterwards if you just want to relax. Tourists on the package tour may not get to see the beautiful beach because the wharf is situated on the other side, so do get out and explore! Locals are helpful and friendly.

Sabang overall is a nice clean out of the way place to relax and swim with availability to tour the underground river. We enjoyed our tour overall and guides were very friendly. Most importantly do a thorough research as far as accomodation availability goes.
