Fantastic place to stay, had everything we needed for our stay, close to most locations , supermarket down the road ( closed on Sundays though ) a few resturants and cafes nearby. We were here in Feb 2024, despite all snow and being cold the house was always nice and warm when we came back which was so welcoming. Will be using this house in the future thats for sure. Many Thanks. 5 Star rating from us

Perfectly located, great patio area overlooking the water, large and roomy apartment.
Its a picture perfect town. I don't need to describe its beauty. Its apparent from my pictures itself. We were lucky to see Northern lights (Aurora Borealis ) during our stay. It made the stay even more unforgettable.

The cottage we stayed in was cosy with a fantastic view of the water and mountain, sitting there with a hot drink in hand and enjoying the view after a walk on a windy rainy day was the best way to end the day. Has all the things we need for cooking. Free parking space, easy to get in and out of places. It's a pleasant stay.

We did the Reinebrigen hike.
We did the Reinebrigen hike. Lots of people but amazing views.
We also rented a boat from the hotel and went to Vindstad and did the hike to Helvetestiden and Bunes beach. Loved it.
Drive down to the town of Å. Went to the old bakery for cinnamon rolls. Charming. Stopped for lunch at Maren Anna on the way back to the hotel.
The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant. We stopped in at Anitas Sjomat for shrimp and brought them back for dinner at our cabin. One night we walked to dinner at Gadus. Charming and convenient.

This is a truly beautiful and majestic landscape, and definitely not to be missed. Inevitably it's own fame and success, together with its one main road, means it can be busy at times, certainly during summer months.
I wouldn't miss it for the world, but there are other really stunning places in Noway to see without the cavalcade of motorhomes, so don't miss those either.

Beautiful location if you have a car.
Beautiful location if you have a car. Very remote with lots of hiking and water activities (for additional fees). You definitely get the sense of what a rugged place this is to live in year round. We had a wonderful (expensive) dinner at the Gammelbua restaurant. No fast food. Try the Coop Prix in Reine to pick up food for lunch/snacks. This is such a beautiful spot that renting a hotel early (6+months ahead) for the high Midnight sun summer season is a must. We enjoyed the museums in A (village south of Moskenes) as they set the stage for us to understand the recent legacy that is Lofoten today.

Driving in Lofoten towards Reine is fun and blissful with great views and beautiful landscapes. We made numerous stops just so we could digest the most beautiful scenery during our autumn road trip. ❤️💕❤️
Beautiful location and very comfortable bed and bedding - the best yet in fact. The views were gorgeous and the location fine for us. This is an expensive area of the Lofoten Islands and we found it really expensive for what we got. It was very small and we were on the ground floor so it lacked a little privacy and we could hear the elephants stamping around upstairs! I would stay again but I would need to be assured of a top floor unit with balcony. I felt it was a little unfair to charge the same amount for both upstairs and downstairs.
The room was beautifully decorated, clean, well-heated, well-stocked, and cozy. The host graciously offered me a room upgrade, and communicated well. Best of all, the location cannot be beat - the view of the mountains and cottages is a stunning start to your day, and I watched the Northern Lights right from the deck at least twice! It is also centrally located to the best villages us South Lofoten with east drives, and Hamnoy is even walking distance. I loved my stay here!
Excellent view from the room. We had a small balcony on the first floor and it had an excellent view at night. Excellent location with Circle K supermarket within walking distance and also a nice restaurant nearby recommended by Team May. Nice spacious modern room and spacious bathroom with all the essential amenities. We would certainly recommend to others in the middle of Reine with great views!
Loved the historic building that was recently renovated, so everything worked well and was very clean and beautiful. Amazing location for views and right across from Anita’s Seafood, we went back like three times over two days! Jack at the front desk was super helpful and advised us to hike Reinebringen at the best time to catch the sunset - one of the highlights of our trip!
It is a great option in Reine. It is a hostel and I chose a private room that is very well equipped, very comfortable and clean with a nice view. The breakfast was good to us, not fantastic but with a good selection and for the price the place was quite good. The staff was a plus because they are very nice and helpful.
Very nice Rorbuer in the Reine area. The unit was very clean, comfortable and well equiped. The host was easy to contact and very responsive. The view was fabulous and you could enjoy it both from the inside and from the deck outside. We would stay there again.
I stayed at May Apartment for another 2 nights in a room type called "STORM," located on the second floor. Our room offers a stunning view of the majestic Alps, making this apartment in Lofoten the clear winner for the best accommodation on this trip.
Everything was amazing, from interior to personal. Communication with owner was also very good. I was just amazed, how such accommodation can make your holiday even better.
I hope, that I can visit this place again, when I will return to Reine.
This property could not be positioned any better in my opinion in the Reine area and teh view ofover the water second to none
it was a beautiful Rorbuer. the best we stayed in while in Lofoten. Slice of heaven
Madelea is an adorable and well appointed little fishing cottage right on the water with a spectacular view of Reine. The well stocked kitchen and washer\dryer combo were appreciated.
Very modern and clean appartment . The kitchen is well equiped. The position is excellent. Lofoten islands are lovely.
Sleeping well during clear nights - the curtains were strong.
Great location in central Reine with an amazing view into the fjord and mountains. The room wasn't huge but was spacious enough for a group of 3. Quick response to Booking messages.
Great location and very nice 1bdrm with views of the water and mountains.
Also had coffee pods for coffee maker. Walking distance to all of Reine and the trail.
Thank you for the very large room with the great view! We loved the location and the atmosphere in the suite. Great place to visit Reine and the Lofoten islands.
