Hotel is well placed if you are looking for a central location to access trainstation and explore the city. If you are looking for more quiet location and don't need the central railway station to travel around, I guess it would be nicer to choose other hotels more out of the central locations.
Radisson Blu Hotel is situated in a quiet part of Amsterdam's centre, just a 7-minute walk from lively Dam Square.

It was in an ideal location- very close to the centre and 2 minute walk from the Red Light District. There is plenty shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance which was great. We were given a free room upgrade which was amazing- the room was so spacious and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!
This 4-star hotel offers modern rooms with free WiFi and is less than 10 minutes’ walk from Amsterdam RAI convention centre. Novotel benefits from a gym and a sauna.

The location is alright. It's a bit in between the airport and the main city centre. Considering this location the property per night rates was expensive.
Well located in the Oud Zuid district of Amsterdam, The Alfred Hotel is located less than 1 km from Vondelpark, a 12-minute walk from Van Gogh Museum and 1.1 km from Moco Museum.

I loved the neighborhood and it’s very easy to reach the train station and the centre with the tram. The bathroom was nice and probably recently renovated.
