A very pleasant venue with cheerful and helpful staff and a rich breakfast spread.
Goes is a beautiful town with friendly, welcoming people.
Goes is a beautiful town with friendly, welcoming people. It is safe and clean with lots of history to it. The center of the town has many old buildings with so much character, then turn a corner and you have modern architecture that just fits in perfectly. The center is pedestrianised, with shops, cafes, marketplace and a lovely canal.

Unfortunatly the week we spent in Goes was the week the Fun-Fair was in town. The Grote Markt and the center of Goes was full of loud music and sound effects, bright flashing lights, smelly fried food and candyfloss, etc.
This isn't why we visit "cute small tourist towns". so we were quite frustrated. However I will in future try and find out it this type of entertainment is around before booking.
The little harbour and the couple of pub/resturants around it were very nice.

The second largest town in Zeeland, full of interesting...
The second largest town in Zeeland, full of interesting shops, huge Churches and many buildings, especially around the historic harbour, some that date back to the 1500’s. The central Square is surrounded by bars and restaurants and holds regular markets and other activities.
Restaurants abound; catering for most tastes, providing excellent fayre. It would take months of dining out to try them all.
The historic Harbour is very close to the Centre and has many visiting boats throughout the summer months and is picturesque any time of the year. Definitely a must see for visitors.

Great variety of shops and restaurants, with a high standard of quality for food and drinks. Especially the restaurant like Slot Oostende with its own beer brewery and Belgian Cuisine specials in combination with the home made beers.

It’s a beautiful place to stay for a short visit.
It’s a beautiful place to stay for a short visit.
Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It has a few nice little shops, bars, hotels, harbour and train station.
We found it easier to travel on train from Schipol (where we flew into from the U.K.) to Rotterdam and then Rotterdam to Goes. It cost about €28. The train station staff are so helpful and everyone speaks excellent English (Thankfully for us!)
You can reach other areas easily by train from Goes.
Take note: nearly all the shops are closed Sundays with the exception of 1 Sunday per month.

Good small town with a nice variety of shops and good market...
Good small town with a nice variety of shops and good market The Yacht harbour is also worth a visit. Good bus services to see surrounding area and other parts of Zeeland. A day ticket on the bus for the whole of Zeeland is €14.80.
good access, closeness to Goes city centre, I did not stay in the main building, which was ideal. The main building has a living room which is ideal for guest to hang out, read, watch some tv. The second building also had a smaller living room as well, which was ideal. the room was good with coffee tea making facilities and this room even had microwave and induction hob and fridge freezer, making it possible for long term stay if needed. Breakfast was really good and even newspaper was provided. Parking onsite was good and free wifi.
Hotel picked at random as next to rail station and on route for pickup next morning by colleague in car. Town was very nice and hotel staff very friendly, evening meal was very good and reasonable price. Breakfast was limited range but more than adequate and included in price. A very pleasant overnight stay and would visit again for personal non business stay if in the area.
We were looking for a place to stay with our dog and not many hotels accept dogs. We felt very welcome and so did the dog as we received a small package with some dog treats at the check-in.
The rooms are big and the bathrooms are modern with nice, big walk in showers.
We had a nice dinner at the brasserie.
The hotel is centrally located to visit Zeeland.
Tastefully decorated apartment, newly renovated. Very sympatic owner, communication very easy and fast. Comfy beds and nice terrace. Cleanliness +++ and very good location, just 2 steps away from the main square of Goes. Possibility of parking at some little extra cost.
Location is perfect, directly by Goes Center. It has kitchen, fridge and separate bathroom. Decorations in the studio are great. Hosts are very friendly. Most importantly, it has a comfortable bed and sofas. Studio looks as good as the host pictures.
Thet atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice. Also the food and the beer is very nice, served by friendly personnel. The location in the centre of Goes is very nice. The bathroom has been modernized recently and is up to standards.
The location is extremely central within Goes & easy to get to other towns/villages of Zeeland. The staff (especially front desk) were super friendly and always happy to help. The breakfast offering was sufficient and plentiful.
This hotel is in an excellent location close to the town square. The rooms were comfortable and the air conditioning was appreciated. The hotel served a fantastic breakfast one of the best on our trip.
The staff was very helpful and friendly especially Martin who went the extra mile.
So much nicer then the chain hotels and a fantastic atmosphere.
Good food, home brew-beer, a place I can recommend!!
Everything from the spacious room to the small garden behind the hotel.
The staff was very welcoming and give us precious advises to discover the surrounding.
