EL-KARAK is a beautiful town in the heart of the Jordan-Valley... The views of the Valley are breathtaking!!! The BEST local restaurant in town is located right next door!!! There is a wonderful bakery literally right across the street from the hotel and the baker will offer you traditional tea "shi" pop to drink with a variety of traditional bread... Most importantly the locals are extremely warm and welcoming... They might even invite you over to their home to eat Jordan traditional MANSAF 😋

Owner was great! He welcomed us warmly, offered some beverages and food, later in the evening invited to his cafe by the castle (few minutes walk). Considering jordanian standards room was ok, bathroom was outside the room, but that was clearly described in the offer. Everything was clean, staying there you can get a good feel of Jordanian hospitality and decoration of the whole house was a good addition to the overall atmosphere.

Very unique hotel - it's a bit like the domes in Wadi Rum, but sits just below Kerak Castle! Really well thought out design - lots of space to sit on the veranda, and inside, there are spare phone chargers, wifi, some free drink/chocolate etc in the fridge. Very well equipped. Breakfast was substantial and provided very early for us so we could get off to Wadi Mujib the next morning. Owner was wonderful. Couldn't do enough for us to make us feel welcome. Astounding views of Kerak Castle.

This is a stand alone home away from other properties, so lots of privacy. A nice porch to sit on to have dinner or breakfast. It is still part of a family’s working farm. Though it is an older property, it has all the facilities you need. The bed was comfortable, and hot water was always available. Plenty of cultery, plates, cooking pans etc. As a long term traveller the washing machine is a fantastic addition to any stay, as is a large air dryer. The breakfast was a nice traditional Jordanian meal, delivered at the time you request. Wifi was reliable when I was there. The owner is a helpful and nice person who makes you feel very welcome.

Very impressive castle to visit, the opening times were longer than our book said apparently. Could do with signs telling which is which inside. Nice also to have a look around town and grab a schwarma from one of the little stands near the fruit/veg markets and sweet from the nice bakery.

If You ever come to Kerakas, please go to Cairwan palace.
If You ever come to Kerakas, please go to Cairwan palace. We met the most amazing guide there, the palace had to work only from 9 o'clock on Friday, but we came there earlier and.....the guide helped us. He showed us everything though his English language was not so good, but he could explained us everything. We spend the most brilliant hours there:)

This is amazing panoramic location perched over the wadi with terraced patios. Jamal is an excellent and attentive host. If you are like us and love things authentically rustic and traditional then you will love this place. We ate around the fire and Ruth wore Jamal's camel for gown. Truly magical. If you are passing down near Karak, make sure you come here. V quiet and big family or group rooms.
the room is clean and lovely
it’s so close to castle and restaurant.
you can see the boys playing football at courtyard
the boss is so friendly and funny
he show the best place to see sunset in Karak

A lovely stay at Jarajreh Apartments. The host was extremely kind & met us as we came through town to show us the way. The apartment furnishings were new, clean and included a very large television! There were delicious shawarmas around the corner and the people in town were all very welcoming. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone travelling through Karak!
The hotel is centrally located near Kerak Castle. The hist is very helpful and has a small cafe near the castle, which is one of the very few eating options in Kerak.
The rooms have a nice view of Kerak Castle and are spacy.
There are only 3 rooms, which makes you feel at home; The common kitchen is well-equipped.
Amazing and kind host. Great service. A famous breakfast that I recommend trying to everyone who stops here. Excellent location near the castle. You will feel at home here. If you go to Al-Karak, do not hesitate to spend at least one night here.
The hotel has nice lobby and really friendly receptionist. They offer a dinner which we didn't took as we were full but it looked pretty good. Wi-fi is working. Best water pressure in the shower of all Jordan :)
Beautiful apartment on top of the hill 5mins walk to the karak castle and very spacious, clean.A free beautiful breakfast made by the owners family and great value for money, highly recommend!
My stay at the Cairwan Hotel was quite pleasant. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was quite good. I would recommend this hotel for a nice stay.
Large, secure parking lot. Wonderful service and conversation with the host. Great restaurant (with discount for hotel guests). Impeccably clean bedroom and bathroom.
it’s closest to the KaraK Castle . And , the hospitality is commendable. They provide us with unlimited water . Also , their KaraK Tea , really soothing.
The hotel is right next to Kerak Castle. The staff was very kind and even brought us tea in the morning. The room was clean and the size was also good.
