I stayed here with my sister and we absolutely loved this hotel, amazing location right by the water at Marina Grande. Every morning we left the hotel we kept saying to each other what a nice hotel it was!
The lobby area is so clean and light and the staff were exceptional. They helped us with recommendations on where to get a good pizza, and helped us book the shuttle bus to Naples airport in advance. They were so welcoming every time we came back to the hotel.
Breakfast was excellent, we loved the pastries, yoghurts, fruit, fresh bread for toast, scrambled eggs, pancakes, so much choice!
The rooms are small but just what you need, super comfy beds and lovely bathroom. We stayed in the room with no view which suited us well as we were out so much exploring and also there’s a lovely roof terrace where we took some cards up and had an aperol.
Location wise I would absolutely recommend staying here, it could not have been better. The centre of Sorrento was quite busy (especially in the evening) and every time we got back to Marina Grande we were so glad to be back. It took us around 10 minutes or so to walk to the start of the historic streets, we are quick walkers though. It’s also such a lovely walk we really enjoyed it each day. Maybe even highlight of my day!? I also think the best restaurants were in Marina Grande as the seafood and pasta was unbelievable and so nice to see all the little fishing boats parked up in the bay.
Couldn’t speak more highly of this hotel and wouldn’t stay anywhere else when I come back!

Staff were wonderful, gardens beautiful and the location is fantastic. Sitting in the bar balcony in the evening overlooking the bay of Naples with a drink served by wonderful staff is as good as it gets
Il Faro is right on the harbour in Sorrento, which is great if you are thinking of visiting 1 of the islands. Have a traditional Neapolitan pizza at the Vela Bianca restaurant.

Nice hotel, lovely breakfast and room was comfortable. We didn't use the pool but we did use the gym. We booked an hour in the wellness pools which was beautiful thing to do.
It was fantastic. Great views. Beautiful culture, area, lots to do.
Kitchen is a bit small if you plan on cooking every meal but you don’t need to. Affordable local restaurants are walking distance and the best food we had in Italy.

Most definitely need a car as public transportation is not close enough. Need to be a confident driver to navigate bends in road and local drivers going too fast. Fair sized Conad supermarket about ten minutes drive in S.Agata. Can’t really walk anywhere because no pavement
About 20 minute drive to Sorrento.
