The Location of the hotel was exceptional for access to transportation (train and ferry) around Lago d'Iseo. The room was large and had a beautiful view of the lake and the bed was very comfortable. Despite the 'worn appearance' of the bathroom the facilities were very clean. The owner was extremely nice and carried my luggage up to the train station for me after I had injured my hand.

The lake view from the hotel is amazing. The surroundings are quiet and great for a relaxed holiday atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and clean. The room we had was not with a lake view but had a big balcony looking at the parking lot and was still good.
To note: the great view comes at a price as it is quite a steep walk up to get there. We were with just a backpack so it was fine. However, good to be prepared in case you have a lot of / heavy luggage.

Location perfect for us. Lake view from window. Ideally situated to get boat over to Monte Isola. Breakfast was very tasty and included several home made items. Made very welcome by hosts.

Sulzano is a magical place nestled between the lake and mountains. Tourists can enjoy the beauty of the Lake Iseo. The water is crystal clear. The view over the lake is absolutely breathtaking. It’s a wonderful starting point for trekking the ancient Valerian Road or hiking the mountains. There are regular ferries to Monte Isola, the largest lake island in Europe. Sulzano is definitely worth a visit.

Very convenient location for taking ferry to Monte Isola-- 2 minute ride. Also, convenient for cycling north to Vellow & around to the western side. Rivalago hotel was a wonderful place to stay & dine. Tourist Info office very helpful with suggested biking routes & ferry schedules for various towns around the lake. Local biking shop near the ferry very friendly, only 15 euro for daily bike rental. Great staff & sunset views at Il Cacciatore Restaurant. Also, loved the food at Rivalago Hotel. Overall found very limited restaurant choices in Sulzano & no boutiques. Loved our 1st visit to the lake, but next time will stay somewhere with more dining & shopping options

Sulzano is a brilliant place to stay, with spectacular...
Sulzano is a brilliant place to stay, with spectacular scenery, friendly people, and plenty to explore. A short train trip to Iseo and then brief walk brought us to Torbiere del Sebino nature reserve. We also jumped on the regular ferry across to Monte Isola, and climbed up for the marvellous view. The weather in September was gorgeous, and the beautiful butterflies, lizards, and other local wildlife kept us fascinated all week long.

Parking was off the road outside the property (not secure - but not a problem) It is a wonderful place to spend holiday time! The appartment is located in the old house of the harbour mastor, is furnished with attention to detail and has all necessary equipment. Davide is a lovely host and always available to give support or advice. Parking is a 10 minutes walk away but no issue as it is possible to stop close to the appartment for unloading and loading the car. See you soon again Davide!

There is parking externally available about a 10 min walk away (steep hill). Breakfast was next level amazing. There was even soy milk cappucino. Restaurant was excellent for dinner. Room was super. Views were wonderful. Pool was very nice. Close to ferry as well.

It’s a very small and familiar hotel that sits above a restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast one of the best we ever had in Italy. The staff is amazing and service minded. We will be back and and next time we will try the restaurant (it looks very good).
