Lovely room, staff were great, location was great, 15 minutes to the centre. Good restaurants near the hotel, Ro Cocco and Margeri were excellent. This is a definite stay if you visit Bologna.

Ponticella/San Ruffillo is close enough to the city by frequent, efficient bus service but do research routes and tickets before visiting - eg the City's app was fraught with issues, so suggest using physical tickets. Don't expect to rely on taxis anywhere outside the city limits even if you're only a few km from the centre.
