Loved the location. Very easy to walk to everything and had its own beach. Also excellent price. We also loved that our room had a private balcony area.

Palau is the perfect place to stay if you want to explore the Costa Smeralda. Its not too large and has a very friendly athmosphere.
There is a beautiful beach really close to the apartment and there are so many great restaurants, bars, coffee shops and a lovely Gelato shop all near the marina.
There is a ferry that goes back and forth all day to Maddelena Island which is beautiful. You can either go on foot or take the car.
We travelled all along the coast and found numerous wonderful beaches and stunning marinas.
We would definitely stay there again

Nice area around the harbour.
Nice area around the harbour. A number of restaurants that are perfect for 3-4 days. Plenty of opportunities to go on a sailing trip to La madalane and the other lovely islands around Palau. You just have to try it. Sailing trips can be made in many price classes.

I definitely recommend going on a boat trip, beautiful beaches that you will only see when you travel by boat. I would recommend taking a ferry to the island of La Maddalena, renting a scooter or car and crossing this small but beautiful island.

Palau is the nearest seaside town from the ferry landing...
Palau is the nearest seaside town from the ferry landing between Corsica in France and Sardinia in Italy. Hotels need to be booked well in advance, end September is a good time to visit. The nearby Islands of Madalena, Caprera and the other islands are a bonus. Costa Smeralda is within easy driving distance from Palau. Mind the restaurants they can be pricey.
The apartment is in a delightful area of a small, clean, walkable friendly town. If you visit Sardinia, this is a fabulous place to stay. It’s close to Arzachena where there are many nuraghes and also the Madalena islands and Garibaldi museum. Our host recommended a restaurant for authentic Sardinian food. It was extremely high quality and not very expensive. Parking was easy, everything worked, and it was spotlessly clean. Check in and out both very simple.
Highly recommend the house! It was one of the best equipped houses I ever stayed, sun umbrellas, cold box for example were provided. The beds were very comfortable and its quiet. We had a car which was quite useful in general to explore the island. Lisa is very nice, welcoming and has great tips for the island, the communication with her was super easy, to sum it up she is a great host!
The apartment was a good size, clean, comfy and had all we needed for our week's stay. The location was in the centre of Palau, close to restaurants, shops and the harbour and it was great to have our own parking space. The balcony was a perfect place to sit in the sunshine and enjoy watching life in Palau. Daniela was friendly, helpful and quick to respond to our questions.
Very quiet room, which was perfect as at the hotels at the main street you hear the garbage disposal cars all during the night. This hotel you can only reach by foot but it is very central, right off the main shopping street. Perfect location, will book again 100% if I come back. Much better than a hotel. Sweet host, lots of free amenities!
Great B&B 5min from center of Palau. The owners were very friendly spoke great English, and helped with recomendations for trips and where to eat. On the AC Remote ther is a QR code that leads you to their own leaflet with house rules and recomendations of places to wisit, wher to eat and so on. Good breakfast.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel located right in the heart of Palau with free parking in front of the hotel! It was the perfect place to stay while planning our trip to Maddalena island. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious, which was a great start to our day. Highly recommend this hotel!
We loved the location of this Hotel. It was close enough to the main town of Palau where we did all our grocery shopping and ate at the many available restaurants. The hotel is well priced for what you get. The facilities in and around the hotel are superb and perfect for a relaxing holiday.
Perfect location in the center of Palau. This apartment is really a hidden gem. It was renovated a few years ago and we liked the modern style. The kitchen is very complete with pans, cups, cutlery and plates.
Also the host is very friendly, helpful and responds very quickly.
House well set up, excellent staff, comfy beds, nice sunbeds, external seating area, external shower to remove sand, individual bbq, nice beach bar, good privacy, dedicated parking for each house. Stunning views over La Maddeline on the short drive from Palau.
Very conveniently situated to board a boat trip around the Maddalena islands, this nice little hotel is run by a family who seems to love their work and welcoming people in Palau, with little attentions like preparing baby’s crib and high chair for breakfast.
My bungalow was adorable, it had a beautiful
panoramic view…Anna was amazing she had
great advice where to go & what to see..
she was a true asset to the hotel ❤️
We had half board. Food was ok. The pool is fine, the beach is nice. 12 minutes by car to take the ferry to Maddalena Island. They gave us clean towels every day.
Location was very good, close to Palau Port, La Scuimara beach, restaurants and supermarket. Very friendly staff. Spacious apartment. Swimming pool was also good.
Everything, the room was amazing, stunning views of the Palau´s port and special mention to Elia and all the staff at the Hotel. I would love to repeat anytime.
