Clean, cozy, had both laundry machine and espresso maker as well as full kitchen. Good location 15 min walk from main beaches and lungomare. The host was extremely helpful and appeared just in time as we arrived 3 hours late and were unable to warn him due to cell service outage. He also gave us a ride into Palermo (over 30 minute drive!) on our leaving day which was incredibly kind and helpful. Can’t recommend this place enough, would rate 20/10, and thank you so much to the host!

Sand beach, free next to the water. Wonderful view from the beach. We tried trattoria "L'angolo di Mondello Trattoria da Franco" on Piazza Mondello and "Alle Terrazze". The first one (Franco) is a family-driven local, traditional place, the second one is a first-class restaurant with a very high standard, with excellent panorama view.

Fab breakfast, home baked cakes every morning with a huge choice of goodies incl eggs anyway you like i.e. poached, scrambled, omelet's etc. Quiet location but within a very short walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the centre ... The room was lovely, very clean and spacious with a great balcony, the air-con was wonderful too ...

Mondello has all the capabilty to be a first-rate tourist destination: the sandy beach, the transparent clear water, the landscape, the old villas. I just can't understand why they can't keep the streets clean to match the natural environment. The rubbish almost ruins everything.

Mondello is a lovely little town with some good restaurants and a beautiful beach! It is only a 30 min bus ride away from Palermo and the busses are cheap and easy to navigate. It is not a party town, but was perfect for us as the beach was a 5 minute walk away as were many nice cafes and restaurants. We walked out to Capo Gallo, which was really beautiful and great to be able to jump into the ocean for a quick cooling down.SigrúnUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0
Palermo and the surroundings are dirty - you have to get...
Palermo and the surroundings are dirty - you have to get used to it. However staying in Mondello is much better than staying in Palermo center. Mondello beach is sandy and nice, the beach is clean. There are lots of restaurants and you can find all services you need in the nearby (supermarket, laundry...etc.) There is a bus going to Palermo center (nr 806).

The apartment had everything we needed and even more as 2 small electric scooters were available for use. That made it really easy to explore and go to the beaches and around. On our last day Edi even offered to drive us to the bus station but ended driving us right to our new hotel. We highly recommend Mondello’s pearl. A true hidden gem.MMikkelDenmark

It is a room in an apartment in a block of flats located very close to the beach (across the road). The home was very clean, the host very friendly and ready to help when needed. Forr a short stay it's ok. The price is much cheaper compared to the hotels and the surrounding airbnbs. I personally could not have stayed there more than 3 days (feeling locked in a box). The location is ok because it is close to the sea.

The host was very friendly and accomodating, Guiseppe helped us organised transport to go to the coach station to grab our tickets to the Seattle outlets and also the Airport for the journey back. Note, cabs take forever to book and rarely visible on the Cab apps. Better to pre-book everything.
