The hotel is very charming, and quiet with sea views. We requested twin beds and as the hotel was fully booked we didn't get but the staff was friendly and brought us a complimentary prosecco. The breakfast views are amazing

There was a problem during my original booking when a scammer attempted to fraudulently capture my credit card details. Fabiola's intervention and communications were great and we managed to prevent the fraud without loss. On arrival, we had been upgraded to a nice room with a sea view and the staff were very helpful and supportive. We used both the pool and the beach at the bottom of the cliff and the breakfasts were excellent. The bus into Sorrento is frequent and quick and this saves all the hassle of driving into the town and finding parking. We also took a day trip to Capri from nearby Sorrento which is to be recommended.
The panorama of Nerano Bay is so beautiful you'll never want to leave the terrace of your comfortable room. Welcome to Lo Scoglio, a modern hotel near Sorrento.

We had a lovely room with typically large doors opening onto a well-sized patio with lounges overlooking the ocean. The room was clean and spacious. The bath and shower were a bit small but did not deter from our experience. The restaurant that was adjacent to the hotel was excellent. Sergio was a wonderful host.

Super far away from any near town or city. Not much to do.
Super far away from any near town or city. Not much to do. Beaches are not nice here but there is a harbour where you can get an expensive boat trip to Capri. No buses around and taxi is ridiculously expensive... however a beautiful little village if you like peace and quiet and don't want to leave your accommodation at all for the trip. The nearest beach was Puolo beach (10 minute drive) which had dirty water, lots of boats and rentable chairs but no regular sandy beach space and quite far off if you don't take a taxi all the way there.

Massa Lubrense is a beautiful village right out side...
Massa Lubrense is a beautiful village right out side Sorrento. The views are stunning and it feels very immersed into the community, rather than the touristy atmosphere in Sorrento. There are plenty of restaurants and little shops near by. Would recommend Scooters or a Rental car however, because the busses in this region are not as reliable, but no matter where you stay in Almafi, that would be the case.

Fantastic views, plenty of good restaurants, friendly...
Fantastic views, plenty of good restaurants, friendly locals, but we hadnt realised it was quite so hilly.. and getting used to the Italian style of driving takes a while.. particlularly on the narrow mountain/hill roads with their hairpin bends and steep climbs, enough without someone parked on your bumper trying to get past on a blind bend.. Sorrento was particularly hectic, even at 24:00, often without any clear right of way or give way signs...tbh a nightmare to drive through at that particlular time, look on youtube for driving video to Amalfi, Sorrento etc for proper preview of conditions
Beaches although nice, with clear water were mostly pebble, and if you go in the water, watch out for the (small) jellyfish.. I had only been in the water a few minutues, about to go swim and got a sting across my leg.. ok it wasnt a Portugese Man o War but it wasnt expected.. no real pain, just an unexpected and unwanted surprise.. All I can say is research well and make sure you are comfortable with driving conditions and pebble beaches.. also for the better beach areas you often have to pay!
Very helpful staff at from desk. Made to feel welcome by all the staff (beach side, restaurant, shuttle taxi).
Excursion into Amalfi is hot, busy and tiring, so it's nice to come back to a relaxed beachside hotel, which is set in a small bay. It feels like a family friendly oasis here.
Restaurant half board meals at dinner very reasonable (and tasty). Some things on the a la carte are exceptional (tuna tartare).
Overall exceeded my expectations. What a beautiful little corner of Italy.
Would recommend and would love to come back.
Best place to stay so far during our holiday in Italy. This sleepy village is among local residents, olive and lemon tree groves away from the hectic of Napoli and Amalfi coast. Cozy and homy like staying in your second house. The kitchen is well equipped, clean bathroom and toilet, there is place to do laundry, a private terrace to have meal outside, etc. Candida is very lovely and always helpful to our questions. My family and I felt a bit sad to leave this place and we definitely will be back
I really liked the area. Very friendly people. The windows of all rooms are with a beach view. The room was very comfortable and clean.
Marco was always helpful with everything. He met us at the train station and brought us by car to the hotel, helped us with the tour of Amalfi. Since the hotel is located on the seaside, in order to reach the center of Sorrento, you will need to climb a steep slope. But Marco helped us with this and took us several times to the city center. It was nice trip.
This accomodation is a hidden gem within the Jewels of the Almalfi / Sorrento coasts of Italy. Reasonably priced, with a spacious 2 bedroomed, equipped kitchen, modern apartment in an older building. The town is lovely - easy to get to Sorrento and also the Almalfi coast. And a if you are travelling with a bike most accomodating, and there is wonderful bike mechanic in town! A top spot, with a great host making it easy to check in.
we absolutely loved the Hotel & Spa Bellavista Francischiello.
the restaurant staff was exceptional and the food was an experience not to be missed.
Giovanna and all the staff were super helpful, friendly , accommodating.
The hotel is located in a convenient location, close to Sorrento and easy public transportation right in front of the hotel.
hotel has an idyllic view of Capri.
we will be back!
The view was the best part! It was like something off of a postcard. We also loved the pool, as it was kept super clean and we had it mostly to ourselves during our stay. Their partnership with Torre One Fire restaurant was also a giant perk - the best restaurant in Massa Lubrense hands down (we may or may not have eaten dinner there every single night on top of our lunches).
We had a wonderful stay at Agriturismo Il Giardino do Vigliano. Luigi and all the rest of the family and staff were very kind and helpful. Our room was perfect, & a lovely view of the sea. Great breakfast-which included all important eggs for us Americans 🤣 . As well as excellent Italian pastries etc. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.
The villa was everything we could have wanted for our vacation. Bathrooms in every bedroom, a stunning infinity pool, plenty of space to hang out, and even a washing machine to clean clothes. The villa was very clean and absolutely beautiful. Pretty isolated which was what I wanted, but with restaurants and a small grocery store nearby.
the staff at the property were so helpful and amazing. the property, whilst outside of Sorrento, is right next to a bus stop which is helpful. however I did find the buses a little irritating and are not timely and a cab is very expensive.
we booked this hotel knowing it was outside tho due to having a pool and gorgeous views.
We have been to Italy many times and always love our trips there. Michaelle was the perfect host and his property is possibly the best place we have ever stayed in Italy. The views are outstanding, the port provides nonstop entertainment, and the little village provides all the necessities. We highly recommend this place
Fantastic view and cozy resort. We had a wonderful stay. Enjoyed both the pool and the restaurant. The food was excellent. The view from the bar area is amazing. Very service minded staff. Small walk to a near by village where there are a few restaurants, a small grocery store and a coffee shop/bar/gelateria.
Everything. The owners are so welcoming and they have thought of every single detail. Stunning accommodation in a beautiful part of Italy. You can easily drive to local attractions but there is also enough in the local town to keep you occupied. Would high recommend.
Great location with good views and close to the beach. Staff helpful on the whole. Would describe as an ‘authentic’ hotel which felt fitting for the type of holiday we were looking for . Good breakfast each morning. Beach towels available at no extra cost.
The hotel is right on the beach. They have private beach area with chairs and umbrellas free for quests. Room was big enough, very comfortable bed. Breakfast was one of the best we have had - choice of local cheeses, hams, fresh fruits, fresh pastries etc.
Unbelievable hotel. Beautiful grounds. Probably one of the best pools in Europe. Quiet and peaceful. Amazing sunsets. Delicious meals. One of the best properties we have ever stayed at (seasoned traveller). A true 5 star experience.
well located out of the Sorrento hustle and bustle.
gorgeous pool area with bar
short walk down to the town for variety of restaurants and gelateria
fresh food stores easily accessible for our lunch on the patio and picnics
it was close to the pier so very easy to get to the tours even though they started early. also closely located to the SITA bus stop. I didn’t use the bus to get there but I used it to get back to Sorrento
