After reading all the "extreme" comments, we were curious about this place. In the end, for us it was a pleasant short stay. The accommodation is "rustic" but comfortable, and very quiet. Christian is a nice guy (anyway he was nice with us), and his little dog Jackie is lovely. Of course this is not a hotel but you are sharing his home - even though we stayed in the "studio" that is on the upper floor and has its own dedicated bathroom (outside the room, down a few steps). Shower was hot, breakfast was good. So yeah, perhaps not a 10, definitely not a 1, but overall good for us!
Hotel Rossini is in Imperia Oneglia, near the harbour and 300 metres from the Olive Tree and Oil Museum. Once a theatre, it features a terrace with views of the Alps.

The size of room and cleanliness of facility
The friendliness of the reception staff on the counter when we checked in and in afternoon next day. They were super friendly and they were there at check out too.

Civezza is a beautiful quaint town on top of a hill with character and history. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience at our Accommodation "Plan B" in Civezza and did not get a chance to explore the town BUT we will be back one day.
