I think, there is a big problem with hotels and apartments in Italy. But I was really surprised with this hotel. I expected much worse considering I am in Liguria :)

- New furniture and everything stylish
- Friendly professional staff
Thank you for such a beautiful stay, we would definitely come back!

We loved our stay at Hotel Ferrari. We extended our stay from four to six nights! The staff are wonderful. We had a large triple room with a balcony. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The cleaning staff were very thoughtful and brought a third luggage rack for us when they noticed we had 3 suitcases. The room also has a safe with a key and a refrigerator. The breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed the location, a short walk to the marina, train station, and city center. Chiavari is a lovely town and a great base for exploring the region. It is also a very good value.

The location is fantastic. The train station is a 10 minute walk away and is a central line. The town is so nice and full of history. The beach is a 10-15 walk with a fantastic selection of restaurants, there is also lots of retail shopping.
The lady who greeted us was lovely and spoke great English. We received clean towels daily and she tided the room on a daily basis which was great.

Chiavari itself is not a tourist destination, but it is a very friendly city . It has plenty options for shopping and dining. The location is a perfect intermediate point if you are visiting Cinqueterre for one side, and Santa Margherita and Portofino on the other site. Transportation by train to those places is easy and no expensive. Personnel at the train ticket office speaks fluent English and are very helpful when planning you route.

We stayed in Chiavari cause we didn’t find another appropriate accommodation in Cinque Terre, but I’m so glad it happened this way, because Chiavari is one beautiful small town (but not too small), charming and interesting. In my opinion it is more interesting than Cinque Terre. There are a lot of restaurants, bakeries, different shops, beautiful streets, typical italien architecture, sea side and so on. We stayed for two days there, but I will come again for sure, at least for four days or more. It is close to Portofino and Cinque Terre (in a between), has better parking options, there is also a train station and trains go very often to different destinations. Chiavari is a pretty little place right on the beach.
Chiavari is a pretty little place right on the beach. The town centre is porticoes with lots of nice little restaurants. It gets very crowded and expensive in summer, but off season its a lovely place to visit.
The cemetery up the hill is lovely and the centre of town has a nice antiques market one sunday a month. There is a bit of art deco architecture.

Chiavari is a perfect choice if you want to visit around Cinque Terre and Portofino. The prices are great compared to other cities and is very easy to get from Chiavari to visit them by train. We managed to visit everything we had on the list: Cinque Terre, Portofino, San Frutuosso, Genoa, S. Margherita etc. The beach in Chiavari is not that great if you are looking for stunning blue water, but it was easy to travel to other beaches, such as Monterosso.

We have been to Chiavari many times because it combines so many things we enjoy. The sea of course, but also a wonderful evening passagiata, as well as absolutely divine restaurants. The town is compact, with good shopping, ample (paid) parking and delightful piazzas.
Great location, big, spacious apartment, very clean with all that you might need. Chiavari is charming town on the sea side. The owner is very nice he even waited till midnight for us to arrive. The building is very nice and clean just 3 minutes walk to the sea and 5 min to the center and train station. Washing machine and dishwasher is a great adventage also. You can travel to 5 terre and other places with a train so you don't need a car really. But if you do come by car there is free parking around the apartment.
The Casetta is located in downtown in a one-way street. We were welcomed by Laura, a real estate agent in Chiavari, which gave us a tour and answered our questions. The Casetta is decorated with taste and very well equipped (sofa is a convertible bed!). We loved the patio. There is a parking lot close to the Casetta where you can stay for 2 hours, or a large one close to the sea which is free for a long-term stay (5 min by foot). Chiavari is a very beautiful city to enjoy dolce vita!
The location is absolutely perfect for exploration the surrounding part of Liguria
The city itself is a charming location, without any particular attractions but have a good climate to live/visit
The hotel is within a proper walking distance from the train station as well as from the motorway exit of the town
The facility itself is well renovated and maintained
The hosts are very kind and take car to enjoy your stay.
Beautiful facility with 3 separate en-suite rooms to rent across from the beach in Chiavari, Italy. Beautifully appointed rooms in well maintained building just off the street. Clean, comfortable rooms with welcoming common area and abundant free snacks and water. Large refrigerator in shared kitchen, small refrigerator in room. Parking arranged at small public lot across the street at no charge.
This is one of the loveliest places we stayed on our two month trip. The room was beautiful and the bathroom! Bigger than some hotel rooms we’ve been to. Staff was gracious and helpful. Additionally, there was a notebook with suggested itineraries and restaurant recommendations. Location is perfect—very close to both passagiata and to the sea
It was better than I expected.
The host was very generous (thank you sooo much), we were welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco and some food for breakfast.
Apartment is fresh, well equipped and cleaned.
The view is amazing. Nice balcony.
Walking distance to city centre. Free parking.
First time is Chiavari, glad we have chosen it.
Location.
In the season when you are mostly outdoors, and you only need a hotel to spend the night, this hotel is an excellent option for the price, you do not have to overpay for an expensive hotel if you are almost not there. Located on the 1st lane, in the city, next to the promenade along the beach, the sea and the city.
The hotel is located very close to the beach. We needed hot water for the baby's formula milk and the man at the reception (forgot his name..) was so helpful and friendly even if it was past 10 PM. He recommended the best restaurant to have dinner at and showed us were is the closest free public parking.
Hotel Ferrari has great location when you want to explore Cinque Terre, Portofinio and Genoa. Hotel is near train station, old city center is nearby with nice shops and market. City is much better than La Spezia. Stuff in hotel is very kind. Room was nice, every morning cleaned. Breakfast was satisfied.
The staff and the room were great. The lovely lady in the morning was really nice and helpful with breakfast. She always asked what we wanted to drink.. The room was always made up and clean. It was a lovely and spacious place right near the train station and historical center.
This was close to our favourite place all trip. Chiavari is a gem, we wish we stayed longer. The pool is fantastic, the rooms were new and nice and spacious, front desk was extremely nice and helpful. Our biggest regret was not staying longer! Breakfast was amazing.
beautiful and quite Apartment in Chiavari.
Anything is clean. you have enough space for 4 or 6 persons only 5 min away from the city centre. the contact person is very very kind and sweet.
We had a great stay at the hotel!
The room was clean and greatly located. The staff was very kind and helped us with recommendations and accommodating us.
Beautiful apartment perfectly located in Chiavari. Close to beach, restaurants, bars and main square in Chiavari. The communication with host was superb.
