The location was excellent - it's a very charming old hotel. The room was comfortable and spacious, if a little dated. Parking was right outside, and the breakfast and dinner we had in the restaurant were nice.

Guest assistance! .I was unaware  buses did not always run on 1st May & bought a ticket and waited! And Waited! Then phone hotel I was impressed at the concen and offers of help by the gentleman I spoke to on the phone. Eventually I arrived after a huge detour. Again the gentleman continued to be helpful and not only showed me on map where to catch a train but bought a ticket for my bus! Thank you! Excellent breakfast in the atmospheric vaulted historic celler. For the first time ever... I was given a upgrade to a huge room with a view of the river! Happy memories. Thankyou

- nice room (if you don't mind it not being modern) - got a double room as a solo traveller which is very much appreciated - 10min walk to the old town - was able to leave my luggage there for a few hours after check out
