Casa Americani, hotel in Baldissero D'Alba

Set in the heart of Roero Hills, Casa Americani is an elegant building of the 20th century. It features rooms with a balcony facing Montà’s main square.

We took the “robin” room, top floor roof room. Modern design, clean, extra blankets available if needed, warm enough. Breakfast was good, fresh and good quality food. Nice staff. We arrived quite late and hotel gave us good instruction prior our arrival about entry codes, keys etc.

Roero Park Hotel, hotel in Baldissero D'Alba

Roero Park Hotel offers rooms with garden-view balcony in Sommariva Perno, 5 minutes’ drive from the start of Roero Natural Park. Free WiFi is available throughout the property.

Working in hospitality too, I hardly ever post any reviews knowing how much damage they can cause to the reputation of a business, especially when they are not pondered and written on the spur of the moment. Unarguably, the hotel must have known better days, and what the property is in need of is an in-depth restoration. Nonetheless, what is lacking in terms of state-of-the-art facilities, is made up by the courtesy and professionalism of the staff, particularly the waiter and the chef. I ought to have inquired about their names since I know how much pride a hospitality worker can take when being praised in a review for their good work.
