The most beautiful location I’ve ever seen. Very calming atmosphere and awesome views.
Highly highly recommend! We definitely will come again. Also the food was just amazing as was the staff.

We loved our stay! They put so much love into every detail. Everything is very clean, tidy and full of love. The small town of Anghiari offers many small restaurants, beautiful hiking trails and much more. Anghiari is just a 20 minutes walk away from the resort and it’s really worth it. We loved our sundown walk to the city.
For us it was a very relaxing time and we had a great stay. We really enjoyed the peace and this great atmosphere. The whole property with the big pool was very nice and well maintained and the two hosts always offered great deals like Italian cooking classes. Our favourite was the breakfast, fresh specialities were offered every morning, that was really great. We will come back anytime. Thank you!

Beautiful Tuscan city on top of a hill, amazing view from the castle, the view from the side on the city is also very good. Lots of restaurants and shops but not too touristic. Nice flair and definately worth a visit (daytrip).

Anghiari is a charming, ancient village that has yet to be discovered by Americans, yet which was a lovely surprise for us...unlike other locales we visited in Italy, it was uncrowded. We enjoyed a fabulous meal at La Nena, which serves typical local cuisine.

Anghiari itself was a most attractive medieval town with magnificent views (and the artisan shop windows were beautifully dressed but I had not time to visit). I was attending the annual Southbank Sinfonia Music Festival and it was very special and the music and their organisation was of a very high standard.
Well worth a visit.
I can't remember the names of the two small but most attractive restaurants for a delicious evening meal.
Exceptional Italian hospitality! We stayed in a very comfortable, well furnished apartment. Breakfasts and dinners were exceptional and really exceeded our expectations. Dinner is available 3 or 4 times per week, depending on how many guests sign up. Il Pozzeto is a very beautiful property, well maintained, and run by people who truly care about creating a memorable experience. We stayed in 6 different places in Italy on this trip and Il Pozzeto was, by far, the most enjoyable. Thank-you Carine, Mario, Claudia and Nisa!
A very special place to stay hidden in the hills above Anghiari. Cool even in a brutal heatwave, charming owners, and surrounded by nature (from butterflies to wild boar...). Simply furnished but comfortable, with a superb view from the terrace. Fresh herbs in pots, a gift of an apricot tart, all lovely. You do need a car, and to be happy to drive on narrow, steep, unmade roads but if I can, you can!
I can say only positive about this beautiful place. Unfortunately, it was just one night. But all was exceptional good 🌟
The host was friendly and polite. Clean and cozy room with minimalistic design. The view was simply great, we were happy taking our dinner outside. Thanks for staying. Highly recommend this guesthouse ✨
Anghiari is a beautiful old city, a must-see for the tourists 👌
Erica was a wonderful host. We ended up with a suite, not a room, and the view from the bedroom was absolutely magnificent. The place was well-stocked and very clean. When we ended up leaving our bag behind in a restaurant, Erica drove out to pick it up and locate us on the street. Above and beyond, and very sweet. Whne I come back to Anghiari, I will be staying at Nero Gioconda.
Beautiful villa in the hills of Tuscany. The owners, Mario and Carine, were exceptionally kind and hospitable. The food was amazing—the best breakfast I’ve had at a hotel. The Tuscan dinner evening prepared by Mario was incredible and so fun. We only wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the property in good weather. We can’t wait to come back.
I was delighted to find that our room at Nero Giaconda was a small apartment. It was well equipped and included a variety of treats as well as cooking essentials. It has a fantastic view from the bedroom window. Erica was really lovely and flexible and we were able to check in early. Anghiari is a beautiful town with good restaurants.
The location was perfect just outside of Anghiari overlooking a beautiful valley. 2 pools were perfect for cooling down after a long hot day. Breakfast was fantastic, some of the best eggs we’ve ever had, with plenty of choice at the buffet. A lovely place to stay and we’re sure to be booking again when we’re next in Italy.
Lovely accommodation in a stunning location with truly breathtaking views. Our hosts were very welcoming and attentive without being in any way overbearing. This was a delightful visit and Vigna del Poggio is highly recommended as a base for visiting beautiful Anghiari and the surrounding area.
The property was really beautiful ...lovely views and places to walk. Flowers everywhere! We were given a larger apartment than booked since the heating wasn't working in that one. The hosts were very nice. Centrally located between Monterchi and Anghiara and only 30 minutes from Arezzo.
Erica is a wonderful hostess—friendly, accommodating, helpful. The rooms and the common areas are full of clever, delightful touches. And one could not find a more authentic location in beautiful Anghiari. A perfect way to experience this charming town.
We felt so very welcome and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house was beautiful and fully met our expectations. Also the surroundings offer many possibilities. We did a cooking course in the hotel, which was much fun.
Location was extremely close to the old town and had great private secure parking. Our host was great and very accommodating. I recommend staying here when visiting Anghiaria and will definitely stay here again.
This was a fantastic and relaxing stop. Our hosts were wonderful and it felt so great to be in Italy away from the usual places all the crowds are. We had a wonderful dinner in the nearby village.
What an incredibly beautiful location! The apartment is in a nicely renovated old stone building with sweeping views. Very relaxing and quiet, and only 10 minutes driving into Anghiari.
