ODDSSON Hotel, hotel in Hafnarfjördur

Situated in Reykjavík, 1.5 km from Laugardalur Family Park, ODDSSON Hotel offers modern rooms with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. Free WiFi is offered.

Super easy to find on the airport shuttle, out of centre but that suited our reason for visiting. We arrived very early for check in (figured we would drop off our bags) but asked if our room was ready. The staff said no, but if you wait 20 mins we’ll prioritise it. Even brought us some coffee whilst we waited - really could not have been more helpful! Great shower / very comfortable bed.

Great location, right in the marina, close to many tour companies, restaurants and the city center. The room was clean and big enough for 2 people to be comfortable. It also had a coffee maker, a safe and a mini fridge, which was nice. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Alda Hotel Reykjavík, hotel in Hafnarfjördur

Located on Laugavegur shopping street in central Reykjavik, this hotel offers modern rooms with a flat-screen TV and free WiFi access. Hallgrimskirkja Church is a 5-minute walk away.

The location was great - a boutique hotel in the middle of it all was just what I was looking for. The staff was friendly and helpful. I thought that the parking would be an issue, but it was not at all. Street parking was available and cheap. The lobby is a comfortable spot to have a coffee and watch people go by on the streets.

We are use to very large rooms with kitchens in our hotel room. While we vacationed in Iceland we stayed at VRBO’s but we saw this unique hotel and had to stay here and experience it! Loved walking around the hotel and the use of hot tub and sauna !!!

    Lovely little fishing village.

Lovely little fishing village. There is a couple supermarkets and some restaurants. There is a main bus stop 2 mins from the Viking Hotel which was so handy and the stop for the Flybus coach to the airport (approx £23 pp one way) was opposite the hotel which was super handy and you get a beautiful view of the harbour whilst you wait. We got off 2 stops early from Reykjavík one day and walked back to explore and there were some lovely sights on the way. It’s a really nice place that’s neat and tidy. Probably wouldn’t need more than half a day wandering round but it’s nice to see the town.

Great hotel. Was given a room upgrade.

Great hotel. Was given a room upgrade. The person at the reception desk was very helpful and recommended a great restaurant, A. Hansen, for dinner. Loved the shower head, felt like a personal waterfall. The room didn't have USB ports but fortunately I had a european plug adapter with me. The wifi was excellent.

    Such a cute town!

Such a cute town! Small enough to feel cozy but also large enough to actually have restaurants and groceries! The whole town is very clean-like not a piece of trash anywhere. It’s so lovely & nice that it almost feels like it’s a movie set. we stayed on the water so the views were spectacular. It’s a short drive to Reykjavik so if you want to bustle of a city, you can have it in a few minutes. Its also a short drive to the blue lagoon so you can relax all day in the lagoon then make it back easily to Hafnarfjorour. Every person we met spoke English very well in the town so there were no communications issues. Pallet coffee shop is a lovely coffee shop with the friendliest staff and delicious bottomless coffee. Our first morning in town, we spent a couple hours just sipping coffee and talking with locals. Hotel Viking is cute. The rooms are nice and the staff friendly. We rented a car which made our stay very easy and everything in town was convenient.

What an awesome place! It was very conveniently located but in a nice and quiet residential area. The place was really clean and felt new; and it had everything you might need for a longer stay or a shorter one.

Hafnarfjordur was a good central location for getting to/from the airport, Reykjavik town and the Blue Lagoon. There were a few nice restaurants nearby which reception told us about, Von Mathus and Krydd and we got takeaway from Dominoes which was also up the road from our hotel. We loved being near the 'World Class Gym' and got temporary membership.

Incredible location on a mountain hill just outside of Hafnarfjörđur. Beautiful cabin with hot tub and fully equipped kitchen. Landlady makes sure everything is clean and we were supported where ever we needed. From the cabin, most of Icelands treasures are within reach by car. The glaciers, volcano, Reykjavik Harbour, Golden circle, blue lagoon and many more we visited on a maximum drive of just over 2 hours (most were far less). A great place to stay! Love to go back again.

When you stay with Arni, you get a slice of real Iceland. The accommodation is roomy and clean and the vintage decor adds to the homely feel. Arni was an attentive and caring host and that enhanced our visit. The facilities are basic but everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is very well situated for getting around Hafnarfjordur, with easy parking. We enjoyed our stay, thanks Arni!

The location was in an excellent position to explore what Iceland has to offer. the Room itself was amazing for me and 2 friends with shops just down to road this location was great. the facilities in the kitchen were all there (Pans, Pots, Cutlery, Oven, Microwave, Fridge and Dish Washer) We honestly felt like this was one of the best locations we stayed in whilst in Iceland!

We had two rooms. The larger one was lovely, had a corner window and comfy bed, but little to no wifi access. The smaller room was rather tiny but had good wifi. Breakfast was typical for Iceland, no extras. Staff was nice but the reception area was tiny and often clogged with people & bags. There's a lovely ice cream shop next door that stays open late.

Thelma and her family are quite lovely.. the communication is easy and uncomplicated. The apartment is very close to Reykjavik Downtown and near to many places like the Nationalpark, volcanoes and geothermal areas. We didn’t miss anything and had a great time in Iceland. Thank you for being your guests.

The Hotel Vellir was the last stop on our two week stay in Iceland. It was convenient to Reykjavik and the airport. The staff was friendly and let's not forget the filling breakfast with heart shaped waffles. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. It was a great last night.

Location in between airport and Reykjavik. Not far from the city. Lots of parking spot. Gym inside the hotel but there is another gym nearby. Near N1 gas station. The staff are great. They also offer different tours. We will stay in this hotel again for future trips in Iceland.

Apartment was really spacious. Kitchen had everything we needed. The washer and dryer was definitely a bonus! Me and my friends had a few movie nights and we really enjoyed the living room area especially the huge tv. Would definitely come here again if I were to visit Iceland.

We arrived on an early flight and the employee onsite did everything she could to get us into our room early so that we could rest. The hotel was conveniently located near two grocery stores and Go Campers, where we picked up our camper van.
