The sound and light show is very good too, though the commentary is unnecessarily politicized (pro BJP....even Sardar Patel is mentioned without his Congress connect). The administration has made exceptional arrangements for the old and handicapped (free buggy, a lift to go to the 1st floor etc). The lighting of the new temple is fab. The location next to the sea is fab! It's a very clean temple, and extremely well maintained! Beautiful Temple of Lord Shiva ,one of the Jyotirling 🙏, just beside the sea shore. Activities like , safari in GIR national forest at Sasan and Devaliya park is one of the best option to spend time with family On the way to Devaliya park for safari there is place called Ramdoot Farm , a roadside dhaba, but a very rustic place to have lunch, they serve local food made of veritables grown in their farm. Highly recommended....

Well maintained. No VIP and payment queues anywhere for the temple. Perhaps there would be English writings also in the temple along with Hindi and Gujrati for other travellers. Light and sound show was good. Great is the Lord. And the trustees who created it. Gujrati thali is good enough for a meal. The place is Truly ancient though the temple has been recently rebuilt post independence.Some of the sites connected to Krishna's last days as a mortal need better maintenance and publicity. Travelling by Autos is both comfortable and economical.
