The best breakfast we've ever had (the bonus pancakes were amazing!).
Room was spacious (our 11 year-old liked the fact he had his own room!)
Staff and owners were extremely friendly and helpful.
Excellent value for money.
Quiet, didn't hear other guests.
Did we mention how fantastic the breakfast was?!

Arrived very late, at approx 1:15am and was checked in by a lovely night porter who was super helpful. I was given a huge room with a great bath and shower and a very comfortable bed. The public facilities in the hotel were more like a home than a hotel and I can't say I've seen anything like it before in Ireland. Well considered and comfortable. All areas were super clean and when I was checking out, I observed another guest saying to the concierge that the staff were excellent during his stay.I mirrored his sentiments. It does seem like there is attention to detail here that is sadly lacking in many other hotels in Ireland. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh ingredients. I will definitely return here on my next trip.
Clean, quite, inexpensive, good host, secure parking.
Clean, quite, inexpensive, good host, secure parking. Small boxroom with no chair, tv, en-suite or tea coffee making facilities in room and table lamp dident work.I was exhausted after long drive and for the purpose of rest up it was good but wouldent care to stay there for much longer than one night. One toilet shower only available on my floor. Not surprising toilet was engaged in morning when I needed it had to check out quickly make my way to McDonalds Roscrea 15mins drive.

This is a good place to stay for the night and get a great breakfast. We did not hang around so we really don't know what the rest of the house was like, and what was in the immediate neighbourhood (we stayed there because it is near my wife's cousin's farm in Roscrea). Tina, the hostess, was incredible, and the breakfast was great - the room it was in was nice tool. If you need a place to layover for one, two or a few nights then this will probably fill the bill. Forgot to mention, it was good value for the money in the middle of the summer.
