Brilliant location, excellent staff, good evening meals
The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful from the outside and the gardens are well kept.
Inside, it has a very unique sense of furnishings which I really liked.
I brought my partner for a 1 night stay for his birthday. When we arrived to the Junior Suite, we saw that the staff had left a selection of fresh fruit and a note saying happy birthday which was such a lovely touch. The food in the restaurant was very tasty for both dinner and breakfast.
The location and hotel was all that you could wish for, dinner was excellent, breakfast good. hotel was an older property but was very clean through out. staff very good. This property would have been a ten out of ten but for a few problems stated below. In spite of the problems listed below,we would stay here again but in a room nearer the front of the hotel where the internet signal is stronger, also check up on the heating etc.
This is a lovely concept, cozy huts, all the facilities you would need, comfortable bedroom, great shower room with powerful shower and great space, sofa and full kitchen. Outside would be lovely in the summer as there is a bbq and outdoor seating. This is a peaceful quiet place close to Rathnew, close to Wicklow town and Ashford where you will find beautiful walks and a short taxi ride to restaurants in these towns.
Lovely historic house hotel, period furniture, paintings, decor, ,cosy bar and lounge areas with fires Clean and well maintained hotel in nice grounds with views to the sea. Bedroom (four poster room) large, clean, comfortable bed and modern bathroom with bath and good shower. Breakfast quality was excellent with good vegan option.
Rooms are very good, beds are comfortable. The hotel was quite as not many rooms were occupied and I liked it. The atmosphere is very good - comfortable sofas, fireplaces with fire on, nice and light music and very friendly staff.
Dinner was good. I really enjoyed sea & fields view from my window.
We sat by the fire and had a drink before dinner. It was very quiet which added to the luxury of the hotel . Evening meal was fabulous. We found ourselves in the most amazing relaxing surroundings.
Excellent staff and service. Marion went above a beyond for us during our stay and we will definitely return to the hotel in the near future. The hotel is beautiful and the food was delicious.
Junior suite was very spacious and clean.
Ambience in the hotel was extremely relaxing and pleasant with plenty of fires after a day out in wet and miserable weather
