The house is conveniently located close to the village, but very quiet. It was warm on arrival, and the kids loved having a few channels to play with on the TV! The beds were comfortable and had lovely duvets and blankets. We'll be back again for sure!

Ardhill House B&B The Diamond, in the Heart of Ardara Town , F94 C7X9, hotel in Glenties

Offering a shared lounge and quiet street view, Ardhill House B&B The Diamond, in the Heart of Ardara Town, F94 C7X9 is located in Ardara, 17 km from Killybegs Maritime and Heritage Centre and 26 km...

From the 25th to the 27th, we enjoyed a pleasant 2-day stay here. The self-service continental breakfast option was a highlight, allowing us to help ourselves to tea, coffee, and biscuits throughout the day—an excellent touch. During the owner's visit to the house, we found him welcoming and received valuable advice on the Slieve League trek and tour. His recommendation to park our car in the upper car park rather than the lower one proved to be particularly helpful.

The owners were polite helpful but not over intrusive but forfilled every thing expected in a well run b and b and we would stay again. The Station House was very clean, comfortable and cosy. The only thing that our host said she couldn't fix was the weather!

Beautiful B&B, spotlessly clean and tranquil surroundings. Hosts are very helpful. Fantastic breakfast, lovely fresh fruit and a fabulous cooked breakfast with their own garden tomatoes and eggs. This is an ideal place to stay if travelling around Donegal as very central for all main routes. It’s more than a B&B as the hosts have incorporated a beautiful large lounge area for guests to use after a day sightseeing. Within walking distance to Main Street in Glenties for bars and restaurant.

Everything was fantastic. The gift basket was a lovely touch and it was a very comfortable house, with excellent access to Narin and Portnoo and also Glenties. Owners are lovely and very attentive! Our family loved the stay and we also love the fact that it's pet friendly as our collie Larry had a great time too! Kitchen was also fully stocked which is a great touch! Thanks a million.

The Cottage was very comfortable, we were met by one of the owners who explained everything and gave us very good advice on local routes and sights. It was a great location from which to explore and we had a lovely dinner in Highlands Hitel in Glenties. We explored Mt Errigal, Glenveagh National Park, Sliabh Liag, Glencolmkille and Lough Eske. Highly recommend it.

This was my second time staying at Marguerite's B&B. My second stay was equally as excellent as the first stay. Everything about the B&B is first class. Marguerite is extremely friendly and hospitable as a host. The cleanliness of the rooms, the comfort of the beds, the great selection for breakfast. It's a great location for touring and exploring Donegal.

Mary's home is a beautiful haven in a magnificent setting. Could happily have stayed much longer. Felt like we'd known Mary forever, such a wonderfully welcoming host. Her home is full of interesting and quirky things - so much more inspiring than insipid chain hotels. If you have the chance to visit, I would strongly recommend this spot.
