The backs of older houses form a third boundary and the river flows along the fourth. It is a well run hotel with evidence of effort to make the guests experience a pleasant one. From Reception to the dining room the staff were very pleasant and most helpful. There were lots of flowers in the lobby area. Our room was bright spacious and comfortable with very nice linen. The bathroom had a freestanding bath.

Staff in restaurant very efficient and friendly ,as were all the staff that we met in the hotel. Our room was exceptional and spacious ,but unable to open window due to green fly ,which was explained by the hotel . Plenty of seating area in the foyer, and the staircase is a beautiful feature ,so didn't use the lift at all.

Fabulous evening and food in the pub followed by the best breakfast ever the next morning. The breakfast range and quality was the best I have ever had in a hotel. Wow, just wow!
