I love how colourful Dublin (and all of Ireland) is, and the friendliness of the people... as well as the Guinness, of course! We had lunch at the Trinity Bar, very popular but also very spacious with numerous levels for dining and socialising. We did a tour of the State Apartments up at the Castle, which was great, and the Memorial Gardens are progressing very well. I last saw them 12 years ago and was impressed; they are even nicer now with also the free exhibition on the other side. The architecture everywhere you go in Dublin is wonderful.

Dublin might not seem as likeable or picturesque as other European cities, but has its own undeniable charm that lingers in your memory long after you leave it. Public transport is not the best, we struggled a bit with the system and witht the TFI app, but generally ok. Public toilets are hard to find (if there are any).
