Location was perfect as we were attending a family function in Swords. First impression from my wife was would you come back and the answer was definitely yes. The staff were fantastic and very polite and attentive. The food we had in the bar was excellent and the breakfast the following morning was delicious.

Despite being located in a potentially noisy area (above a busy bar) the room was very quiet and was equipped with air conditioning meaning the window could be closed to block out any noise from outside. The room decoration was very nice, bed was comfy and bathroom with walk in shower was clean and looked brand new. Breakfast was very good value for money (not included) and delicious!
Checking it at the bar was a little less welcoming compared to a traditional hotel style check in experience and I would imagine if arriving when the bar is busy could add additional delay. Once we were seen to staff were very helpful and accommodating.
Parking availability was a concern initially when arriving as there is no onsite parking except for about 5-6 spaces, which we were told could not be reserved. Luckily we were able to make a space in the area outside (not in parking bay) and were provided a pass to display on the windscreen so no charge, which was great, however if driving would recommend researching for alternative parking and be prepared to walk to/from accommodation in case it's full. To be fair this limited parking was explained at the time of booking but naively we thought it wouldn't be a problem and arrived unprepared!
Despite these very minor negative comments would highly recommend both the accommodation and the breakfast. Thanks for a great stay!

We arrived at 8:30pm to the hotel.
We arrived at 8:30pm to the hotel. Went downstairs for dinner and it was 9:03 - The restaurant in the hotel was closed and would not serve us. The receptionist told us the village of Donabate had some Take Away places - so we hopped in the car and drove in - 5 minutes. We found a great Italian Place and had a nice meal. Luckily they were open. Same parking lot as the Supervalu - We also shopped there. Nice, very cute little village.
Stayed in old part of hotel, in serious need of a revamp...carpets along hallway looks dirty and in need of change...teapots in restaurant all need to be replaced, food in restaurant really needs to be looked at , had fish and chips and would definitely say I have had better from local choppy in donabate......one thing the hotel has going for it is the staff, so friendly and would do anything to make your stay comfortable...
Every aspect of the hotel is beautiful. The dining area is designed to perfection. The food was PHENOMENAL. The staff couldn’t have been any friendlier or helpful. We booked a room with a view of the beach and I suggest it to everyone considering staying here. The view of the beach was breathtaking and I can honestly say I’ve never slept on a more comfortable hotel bed.
Overall staff were very welcoming and helpful. Hotel is right beside/overlooking beach and we were lucky to get good weather so absolutely made the most of that. The food was good, although the menu is a bit limited, particularly for lunch, but would recommend checking out the 'toastie van' on the terrace if it's open when you stay there.
as a solo traveller I was very happy to be upgraded to a lovely room when I arrived last week! I used to live in this area and now live in Kerry, so I come back now and again to visit friends. I will definitely used the Shoreline hotel again as its convenient, friendly and right beside the sea for daily swims!
We had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is lovely and the staff were extremely helpful. The rooms were extremely comfortable and very clean. The value was amazing, three of us stayed including dinner and breakfast for less than 200euro.
I would definitely return again and ask for a room with a sea view.
This property is right on the beach and is in a fabulous location for walks or exploring the area by car. The hotel itself is lovely, great staff and food is very good especially the breakfast. Loads of places in the hotel to sit and relax or sit outside in the bar area with views over the sea.
great location very convenient place to stay the night before traveling from the Dublin Airport. 15 minutes to rental car return, Great location right on a very walkable beach and great ocean views, On site restaurant was excellent and friendly staff,
Close to the airport yet felt like a holiday hotel. The staff was very friendly (reception and dining room). The food was good. We managed a lovely walk on the beautiful beach on a sunny morning before catching our flight out of Dublin.
I made a late booking and when I got to the hotel, tired and emotional, the lovely receptionist, Ruth, upgraded my stay to a fabulous room overlooking the beach. I fell asleep to the sound of the waves and felt relaxed and recharged.
Great location. Right on the beach and adjacent to a scenic walking path, easy and quick drive to rental car return at the Dublin airport. Comfortable and quiet room. Good breakfast choices.
Ticked all the boxes, enjoyed it start to finish. Food, staff and cleanliness of hotel couldn't have been any better. Perfect location for a nice relaxed family break.
Excellent hotel with lovely staff they where more than helpful and the view was amazing we had a garden room which we loved and it was so airy and nice
