Breakfast was good and the restaurant was also god for dinner. Staff was very nice and the room was clean and nice. Despite the late bar and club, our room was located in an area where we heard no noise.

Bray is a bizarre mix of posh Dublin and 1970s faded northern english seaside victorian town. A bit Scarborough, a bit Norfolk. Lots of amenities, restaurants, bars etc
Beach is large pebbles.
Bray Head walk is wonderful (currently closed for rockfall risk, but everyone seems to ignore the barriers and carry on anyway)
Great place to stay for visiting the area - Greystones is a slightly more upmarket version down the coast, Powerscourt 20 mins away, Glendalough 40 mins away.

Bray is a great place to enjoy a relaxed weekend on the beach. This small town is packed with great restaurants and family entertainment (the National Sealife Aquarium and Bray Bowl Arcade). We ate at The Dough Box, The Palm and Butler and Barry - all the food we had was superb!

Beautiful scenery, harbour and promenade but stoney beach.
Beautiful scenery, harbour and promenade but stoney beach. Lots of opportunity to visit Bray Head with amazing walks and nearby places of interest and also a short train ride to Dublin on the Dart.
Spoilt by a few large but low caliber bars along the sea front which get especially noisy/loud music late at night..However, there are some really good restaurants such as Maison Moli (breakfast was superb) and Dockyard No 8..
Would definitely avoid staying at The Strand!

Bray was a delightful surprise!
Bray was a delightful surprise! We booked our stay out of center Dublin on purpose...but didn't quite realize what a fun seaside town this is, nor how convenient it is to use the DART system, nor how enjoyable it would be to have a cliff walk we could easily access (about 7 km. to Greystones).

Lovely atmosphere, friendly eateries and bars and a super place for families. We arrived Bank holiday Sunday at the start of August. There was a fun fair which was buzzing. The whole place was just fab. Would recommended Bray to anyone. Loved it!

I loved Bray the more I experienced the more I loved it , I would definitely revist Bray.
The breakfast at Dockyard no 8 was so good I went back twice.
The wood fired Pizza 🍕 at the Dough box was gorgeous so I went back twice also.
I did try Gish and Chips at the Palm 🌴 but contrary to the menu the Fish 🐟 wasn't in tempura batter and although there was plenty I didn't enjoy it , unlike the mentioned previous places I ate.
I should add that although I'm not a veggie I do not eat meat so sometimes it's difficult to find something suitable on the menu but I can normally find at least one thing.
I will definitely revist Bray.
Location in terms of being by the seafront is great. The decor of the rooms is gorgeous. The baths are very special. The robes and toiletries are a nice touch as were the complementary mini prosecco bottles for our honeymoon. Tea/coffee facilities are also nice to have with a tea cake as a nice treat.
I'd love to recommend this hotel however, with it being so loud downstairs with the lively pub and the hosts being absent and dismissive (see their previous replies to other reviewers), I couldn't recommend for a chilled out getaway.
The interiors and cleanliness of this hotel is 5 stars! In fact in terms of interior design the rooms are incredible and have a gorgeous home from home vibe. Location is ideal very central with lots of great places to eat and drink, and right next to the sea! The complimentary goodies on arrival were also a really nice touch. The shower is AMAZING!
Thank you for the enjoyable stay! We will be back :)
Although smaller than the average hotel, that brought the comfort and intimacy for a couples retreat to the fore. The staff were accommodating the moment we arrived and very sweet and pleasant when we were indeed tired and worn out. The view was great and the accessibility to everything in Bray was perfect.
Charming boutique hotel. Complimentary cupcakes were a nice surprise. Room decor was beautiful. Small fridge and teapot, nice tea cups, lovely radio, t.v. blow dryer...the room had everything we needed. Comfortable bed and pillows. Awesome breakfast adjoining the hotel.
Felt very comfortable and safe as Guidelines were carried out very well. Hotel was very clean.
Close to shops and short walk to Seafront.
There was a mix up with our room but Management were very professional and sorted out to suit our requirements.
We enjoyed our one night stay in Bray. The hotel was a 10 minute walk to the beach which was nice and the location of it is definitely great. The room and bathroom were clean. The bar in the hotel was nice and had a nice atmosphere.
it was the perfect location, directly on the sea. The view was incredible! The staff were all delightful and willing to assist at any request. The hotel was very busy, but everything took time to ask if you needed anything.
Really large room and the hot tubs looking out onto the prom are gas
Great base for night out in Bray Harbour bar, Echo, Catalyst for brunch
Food in the hotel bar is great
We were able to bring our puppy!
Location. The Hotel is across from a beach promenade and perfect spot for a morning walk. Another nice feature was the Pub on the first floor, a nice spot for a quite conversation.
Ciara was very kind and helpful with restaurant suggestions. The beach was a short walk. Ciara helped us solve a problem which helped us enjoy the rest of our time in Ireland.
Breakfast wasn't included in the price as the hotel was unattended. The location could have been better, but the room itself and the facilities were very good and really clean.
Really super clean, quiet and comfortable. Had everything I needed and ideal location. Host extremely nice and welcoming. Next time I am in Bray I will be back!
Location was convenient to where we needed it to be (close to Wicklow Mountains) and centre of Bray was nearby. Relaxing beds, lovely shower and felt safe.
