It was in a beautiful setting, I had my own section of terrace beyond my patio overlooking the jungle ravine where I practiced yoga in the morning. There was also a small yoga room, and an outdoor massage room where I had the Background sound of birds to nourish my soul - the only one I could find in Bali so far! There was free transport to local spots after checkout.

Charming, quiet, peaceful. Not for those who want extravagance or are exacting in their demands. Staff speak little english but we managed and they are absolutely charming. A real jewel.

- Little flaws in the room (airco and fan not working properly)
- Little bit overpriced (laundry service, taxi service)
- Staff should put out cushions by the pool when pool opens (we had to ask after being there for 2 hours)
- The charge of 10% service fee on everything really bothered us.

The area is spectacularly beautiful however it cops a lot of rain and there can be land slides which cut road access. Our hotel (Adiwana Dara Ayu Villas) was a long way from other properties, so eating options (hotels, restaurants, local warungs) were non existent and sadly as the food in our hotel was abysmal (even the Indonesian was done badly) we skipped eating meals which diminished the pleasure of the holiday.

It is a relaxing place you can enjoy the rice terraces and crops around with this mystic that you can feel visiting the temples. Also, you can find many options to enjoy a relaxing bath in a waterfall.

I truly enjoyed walking the two of us through the village.
I truly enjoyed walking the two of us through the village. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The natural view on the side of the road was a great way to Relax and enjoy your quality time for.
This property was absolutely amazing. Being in the heart of the jungle was such a unique experience and Banyan Tree Escape made our first trip to Bali so memorable. The staff was what made this experience so dear to our heart. Our host, De Gus, went above and beyond to make us feel at home and even assisted with setting up our proposal. It was perfect!! The staff at the spa were exceptional and even management took a moment to introduce themselves to us and congratulate us on our engagement. We simply cannot recommend this property enough!
I loved the staff, they were so nice & super attentive. The most friendly & accommodating hotel staff I have come across in my history of traveling. I wish I could have brought them back to America just to feel there good vibes everyday lol. I also loved how spacious the villas are, how secluded and quite the atmosphere was — believe it or not, I enjoyed the sounds of the animals every morning. The property is exactly what I need, peace and zen.
- staff are wonderful
- lots of free activities provided by the hotel ( yoga, outdoor biking etc)
- pool area is nice
- breakfast was great
- hotel restaurants are nice
- temperature here is much cooler than other parts of Bali. If you hate the heat but wanna come to Bali this place is perfect! Their heated pool goes well with the temperature as it can be a bit cold when the sun is gone.
We loved the place, the intimacy (private pool for each bungalow), the breakfast, the personel who was very kind, helpful and smiling.
The environment ans the location were simply perfect (20 min in scooter from center Ubud) ! As it is a new hotel, everything was clean and it was clearly one of our best hotel we stayed in during our vacations !!
This is our second stay after first time in 2019
And the room we got this time is exactly same room we had before, room no. 4
We love this hotel couldn't find any better than this coz its best value with everything we wanted to stay in Ubud. Nice paddy field view, glass walls and window, swimming pool, and not many rooms so feel nice and quiet
Made and Lana are so warm, welcoming and friendly! They've prepared a delicious little morning snack with coffee. The accommodation is clean, the room is big and spacious. Their garden is lush, green and beautiful and the surrounding area is peaceful, quiet and green, only 15 min drive from the busy Ubud central area. I highly recommend!
One of the most amazing hotels I have ever stayed at.
the pool was incredible, food at the restaurants was divine, and such a comfortable room and bed with a huge bathroom. will definitely stay here again. the location isn’t in the centre of Ubud so you will need a driver or to take the shuttle bus to get to the centre.
The hotel was an absolute paradise being in nature and having the jungle surround us.
the employees were so sweet and helpful! we did two full days of adventures with Adi. he helped us plan our day trips and drove us around. he absolutely exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend you book a trip with him.
This is the place if you are looking for absolute peace in Bali. The resort was located only 30 minutes from Ubud and everything was just as stunning as the pictures. Although it is far from any shops or restaurants the food at the restaurant was very reasonably priced. I hope to come back one day.
Quite far outside of Ubud, in the middle of the rice fields, it's quiet, although lots of frogs around, the view on to the rice fields is stunning. The open rooms leave air through, so it's never really hot in there. Huge bathroom, interesting design. Very friendly staff! Breakfast is tasty too.
The owners were incredible. Felt like home and I even extended for another night, 4 in total. Wayan teaches meditation with his whole heart and Emma makes a delicious breakfast. When I come back to Bali I am definitely coming here again
This hotel screams for tranquility, peacefulness, away from hustle bustle city, amazing staff, the resort is huge and its offers a lot of activities, River View Suite with open concept bath up and bathroom was amazing
The best resort in Bali with amazing views, very kind staff and the most beautiful houses with swimming pools. we will definitely come back . Thank you for everything !
Congratulations on this wonderful resort!

I think i ve found what i was looking in Bali, peace and quiet place surrounded by nature. Staff was very experienced and kind, all of our expectation were fully filled.
