Everything was amazing! The staff are so welcoming, helpful and warm. The food was all freshly prepared with love. The breakfast overnight oats was delicious.
So nice to wake up two mornings in the tranquility of the rice paddies and be able to step in and walk about there.
I had a massage and it was also so great.
The swimming pool was perfect for a dip after trekking the rice paddies. But no need to even go to Jatiluweh as the rice paddies at the hotel are so beautiful
Thanks to Ellen and her team for a beautiful stay.

Tepi Sawah is a peaceful and magical place. It is the perfect antidote to the hectic chaos of Ubud or Kuta. It is a little piece of authentic, magical Bali not far from Ubud.

I love this place. It is very close to the rice terraces and the atmosphere is so chilled. The owner did a tour with me in the area and I really enjoyed. My favorite hotel in Bali highly recommend it!

Best accommodation we had during our whole Indonesia trip. The staff gave us a tour around the farm and harvested loads of mangosteens for us ;)

I was supposed to sleep in Munduk but after a bike accident I decided to stop there. By chance, I discovered a beautiful heaven place. There are three different bungalows hidden in the middle of Ricefields with a stunning view on it from the pool. I slept in the 40 m² Bungalow which was super comfort. You feel lost in the middle of nowhere as if the time has stopped.
But even if the place is really nice, what it makes this place magical is its owner! he took care of me as if I was a friend,He cooked me a delicious meal and even a gave me a oil massage on my broken elbow, This guy was probably the most friendliest that I met during my trip

This is such a beautiful hidden place in Bali. Paradise, in the middle of the rice fields. Surrounded by a lot of tropical fruittrees, edible and medicinal plants. Good local food and amzing people ❤️.
This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money.
This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money. It's immediately across the road from the terraces, and the walking track access.
The owner is a nice guy, and does everything, reception, cleaning, cooking, etc.
The breakfast was basic but tasty, and the Chicken Curry he cooked for me for lunch one of the best I've had in a while.
He has a very friendly dog that followed me everywhere, and enjoyed a pat and tummy rub.

The region of Jatiluwih is known for the beautiful rice fields. You really have to make a tour through these rice fields by walking. We did the bicycle tour, but without electric bike this is not recommended, because of the very hilly course at the end.
We drunk a cup of nice Balinese coffee and ate a delicious pineapple pancake in the village and we noticed that everyone there is nice, helpful and relaxed. We love this place!

Peaceful! Beautiful place for retreat.
Peaceful! Beautiful place for retreat. Plenty of organic fruits to eat. You can laze around and visit places at your own pace. No other mode of transportation than renting a car, though. Would have love to have a local public transport.

Beautiful rice terraces with well-signed walking paths that let you enjoy them thoroughly. There are a number if restaurants with a great view over the rice terraces. I chose the pricier one called Gong Jatiluwih. The food was very nice and the view excellent. The place also has an ATM

Outstanding views of very large rice terrace area.
Outstanding views of very large rice terrace area. Very good walking and cycling on tourist paths around terraces. Could see the well maintained water irrigation systems in action.
Walked up the hill round the corner from the rice terraces to the temple at the top of the villages and then found the trekking path and trekked through the forest to the top of Mount Batakaru that is Bali's second highest mountain.
Area is therefore very good for rice terrace views and mountain trekking.
My room was just in front of rice field with excellent views, clean and with good facilities. Bed was comfortable, staffs were very friendly.
I came at right season of ripping time of all the tropical fruit. I took the advice of the owner, took a walk with guide, anywhere I went, there were fruits hang on trees, fantastic!
Weather was very good, 20-27 degrees, nicest weather in Bali, need a sweater at night.
Hint: Find a moment to stay outside in the evening, otherwise you will miss the sky with full of stars, and shooting stars.

Breakfast was amazing and the location was just like we expected, even better. We thought it would be far from points of interest but it was the opposite, it had quite a few attractions near by. Dewi, as a host and as a friend, exceeded all our expectations as well as all the family from Tepi Sawah involved in the kitchen, maintenance and service. Thank you so much for making us feel like home and part of your lovely family. You guys are one of the reasons why we'll be back to Bali, wish you all the best!
This is a lovely and quaint guest cottage in the middle of the stunning and serene Jatiluwih region, about 20 minutes drive from the famous rice field terrace and the hot springs. The owner, Putu, walked many extra miles to make us feel welcome and comfortable, arranged a trip around and a walk in the rice fields. A stay in Jatiluwih is an absolute must when in Bali if you would like a retreat from the hustle and bustle of Ubud and the beaches and Kubu D'Ume is a perfect spot: warm, welcoming and remote.
We loved staying at Dwan Tea and regret not booking more nights. We felt like staying at our uncle or aunts place but with all the great features of a hotel. The staff was soooo nice and we had so many great conversations together. The room was huge, very luxurious and just amazing furniture and super comfy bed. And the pool and the view....wow!!!! It was an amazing night and morning at Dwan and if we come back to Bali we will definitely stay there again!
It was a cozy place nested in the middle of nature, Ibu Nyoman was so accommodating, they prepared a bed for our driver which not so many places do in Bali, we helped her in cooking, we prepared a very comfy family dinner together, set up the table, in the morning the place was beautiful, the beds were comfy, and the toilets were open to the sky and natural, loved everything, above all the cute kitten kept us entertained all night and day.
This is a very artistic house, with amazing views of the near-by volcanic mountains.
It's a quiet place so bring a book for the sun lounger. The staff prepared an unexpected array of traditional.dishes for dinner which we ate by candle light. They even lit an open fire in the evening. Breakfast was also very nice. We enjoyed their own home grown tea and were given a gift of tea when we left. Very nice people.
I stayed here when I visited Jatiluwih rice terraces. 15-20min ride from there. I loved the surrounding as it is at the end of a village, with nice garden area, very quiet. My cottage was simple, but clean and cute, not too close to other cottages, made me feel very private. They have a bar restaurant area with a cute dog and a cat. Adii is very nice and talkative, make sure your stay is comfortable.
secluded and amazing! these two huts are located in the middle of a rice field with the forest nearby. The breakfast was superb, the room was nice and clean, and the bathroom was better than expected in a hut so far out of mainstream tourist traps.
The host was excellent and we got to see the real life of Balinese rice farmers. A truly magnificent experience out of the ordinary.
You'll be rewarded with the best views of Jatiluwih when staying here. There are not many luxury accommodations around here, so it's hard to find something decent. This guesthouse is a great choice and offers a good price/quality. TIP: Book a room on the first floor.
Best views and nicest host, I will definitely be back. The hosts are amazing, very helpful, and all of the meals are home-made with the fruits, vegetables, and rice from the garden. The best place I've stayed at during my time in Bali!
It's one of the dream places to recommend. Away from the crowded places in Bali. In the middle of rice fields. Hearing the frogs and other animals in the night. Very peaceful and greatly maintained resort.
This is such a beautiful hidden place in Bali. Paradise, in the middle of the rice fields. Surrounded by a lot of tropical fruittrees, edible and medicinal plants. Good local food and amzing people ❤️.
The location is wonderful - a cool mountain paradise near one of Bali’s most beautiful temples. The grounds are lovely and the bungalows charming. Adi, the man who does everything, is great!
In the middle of rice paddies, quiet and peaceful nature, great for getaway from city life. Open space, bright and airy. Views to mt. Batukaru and pretty sunrises.
We loved the view. I think it's the best spot if you want to have a great view over the rice terraces. The staff is really friendly and the room was clean. '
